Warung beach — Restaurant in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

i dont understand.. are all these reviews fake or did we "also" have a bad day (just like 3-4 other reviews)..

this was the worst food we had on our entire Bali trip we had paratha with veg curry and a fried fish with Rice

why serve uncooked paratha or even have it in your menu if you dont know how to cook it.. they gave curry in a glass The fish was so hard and Bland We also took the Jamu drink, this is the first and only time so not sure how it tastes at other places but that too was just turmeric water

i can understand the Veg curry might not be the best the cook has to offer.. but there is no way you can prepare a fish like that.. took 75K for that fish..

i have a feeling the reviews are fake.. to be sure i will keep checking the latest reviews for a couple of months

Located oceanfront and nestled between the "Too White" Penida Colada and Apnea Penida Freediving and Yoga, this little warung is just the place for a delicious bite to eat. Whether it's after a fun day of diving or just a random snack, this restaurant will take care of your hunger needs with great food, even better prices and an even better atmosphere. The bruschetta bread is AMAZING, the chicken burger is PHENOMENAL and FULL of flavor, the fries (or chips for you brits) are just the right amount of crunch and lightly salted, the sweet tea is the PERFECT sweetness, and the chocolate milkshake is great! Lots of food options, but I got the Sate Tempe and the Mango Juice (picture), I believe it totalled to RP. 45k? a fair price and on the cheaper side compared to the surrounding restaurants. Do note that the glass does get filled to the top, I just had a sip before I took the photo. The staff were very polite, as I did a little bit of work while the food was being made and I didn't feel like I was being rushed to put away my things when my meal arrived. The restaurant also has a pretty great view out the back (picture), my timing (around 4pm) does not donit justice as well as the fairly cloudy day we had.
