The Akah Cottage and Restaurant — Hotel in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

Pros:||Lovely bungalows with an open bathroom, everything inside smells amazing, the room, towels, beddings. Their cleaners are just awesome, paying attention to every little detail and always smiling. We changed 5 hotels so far, and this place has the best cleaners.||Breakfast served on your balcony. Free tea and snacks in the afternoon. Water dispenser for free refills inside your room.||We got to check-in early.||The staff was very friendly and helpful and organized our transfers.||Located 5min on foot from the beautiful Dream beach.||I probably forgot something, but overall we're very happy with our stay.||||Cons:||These are just some tiny details, but I will mention it just in case this is very important to you.||There is no decent convenience store closeby if you need something more than food and drinks, but it's a small island so there are not so many bigger stores there anyway.|| Like any bungalow, it has low sound insulation so you might be awoken by the cats early in the morning.||Power was off couple of times during the storm, but the back-up generator was turned on within 10 minutes.||||All in all, I highly recommend this place. What a wonderful place for those who want to avoid crowds on Nusa Lembongan. The Akah Cottages are a lovely complex of 12 cottages, a nice infinity pool and a restaurant on site. Scooters can be rented there for periods of 3 or 24 hours. Only 2mn walk from the breathtaking Devil's Tears, 3mn from Dream Beach and 5mn from Sunset Beach Club. We chose this place to be in a quiet area of the island and we definitely not regret it. The cottage are wonderful, comfortable, air conditioned, really well kept with a real sense of details for everything (welcome drink, garden, room...). The staff is really lovely and helpful. They make you feel at home. Breakfast could look simple at the first view but it was not. We enjoyed it on the 3 mornings when we stayed there. Gorgeous, well-priced villa accommodation conveniently located near Dream Beach, Devil's Tears and Sunset point. A lot of great restaurants and day-spas within walking distance. Peaceful surrounds away from the peak season crowds and motorbikes.Lovely outdoor area with pool and restaurant. Perfect for taking a dip at the end of a hot day of island exploration.
