Located on the stunning shores of Nusa Lembongan, the beach club offers a super chill escape from the daily grind. With breathtaking ocean views, we felt like we’d stepped into paradise. 😍

But Sandy Bay Beach Club is more than just a pretty (amateur) video we made. The restaurant serves up a mouthwatering array of local and international cuisines.

We ordered “Pizza Margherita with Chorizo” (most favorite one! 💫) and Aglio Alio. Yoooww, it was super hot when we came, and their “Ginger Lime & Lemongrass” drink had saved our day! Pina Colada and the strong “Espresso Martini” are recommended as well. We enjoyed them all while laying on the sunbed and taking in the beauty of the Ocean View. 🍴🍹

If you’re looking to relax, you might also take a dip in their infinity pool and feel like you’re swimming right into the ocean. The ultimate relaxation experience in the tropical breeze. 🏖️💆‍♀️

We definitely felt that they are committed to providing a welcoming, hospitable experience for all of their guests (foreigner and local). Their friendly staff (especially Kak Eka and Woda) made us feel right at home, whether we were lounging on the sunbed or enjoying a sunset cocktail. 🌅🍸

The best food we’ve had on Nusa Lembongan. We’ve been twice and so far all the food has been great. The chicken schnitzel was super crispy and tasty. The mac and cheese balls are my favourite. The pizza’s are very good! Not as big as regular pizza’s, but a good portion, especially when you have an appetizer before. The drinks are fun. The pina colada mocktail was really good. The berry fizz is okay, but it wasn’t very fizzy (maybe it’s blended with the sparkling water so then after it’s not fizzy anymore?). The matcha wasn’t my favourite. Overall it’s definitely more pricy than other places, but the food is high quality and the view is really great.

The view is really nice and there are options to sit and lie down in either the sun or shadow. Will definitely be back here!

Edit: we’ve been back multiple times and tried a bunch of other things. Can honestly say everything here is so good and high quality. We LOVED the rendang taco’s and the burgers (buttermilk chicken burger, cheeseburger and fishburger were all amazing!). The popcorn chicken and Caesar salad were nice. Pasta aglio & olio really good. Very easy and helpful to arrange booking a table and hotel pick up. Friendly driver arrived early and we were welcomed to restaurant. They were preparing our table at the front of the restaurant so we were placed on a table at the back and had a drink. When the table was set up we were moved to a fabulous location right overlooking the beach next to the pool. Unfortunately there were a few people who had clearly been at the beach club all day still in the pool which ruined the atmosphere of a smart dinner location. Some other guests were splashed by the pool. We waited for about 30minutes for a waiter to come and take an order of further drinks and thought we had better order food at the same time. The food arrived promptly and was ok..we then decided to have a cocktail after dinner which again were OK. It took us 20 minutes to get a waiters attention to ask for the bill when we decided it would be quicker to go and pay at the cashier, however this was met with issues when all 4 card machines were down! The drinks and food were OK but I feel too much emphasis on the decor and vibe rather than the things that matter. The food is overpriced as are the drinks. The service is not personal and poor.
