If you're coming to Bali, and wanna stay near Ubud, come and stay here. For me, it's highly recommended. The exact location is near Pura Dalem Laplapan village. It is a quiet place to stay, really! What I love the most is the view in the front of your room offers nice and calm sensation, fr. It is located downstairs of the owner's house facing the jungle and Petanu river. They have (if Im not mistaken) three available rooms. It's quite big, fit for 2 adults and 2 kids in a large bed. The facilities are AC, two small cabinets, a wardrobe, a toilet with shower. It would be better if the room has electric water pot on its own. About the cleanness, I'd say it's okay, since you know it's facing the jungle and needs extra attention for the dust and the insects like spiders and ants. You may strolling around Ubud and get some attractions because it's near the town. The price for a night was just around IDR 200 including breakfast. They offer nasi goreng, fried noodle, pancake with fruits and tea/coffee. They serve you the breakkie to your room! The owner is a nice family, friendly to talk with, and so kind. Thank you for your great service! Been so nice...
Read moreRoom? Spacious. Bed? Titanic. View? Straight into the jungle, like your own private nature documentary without Attenborough narrating.
Bathroom? Whole thing is a shower. Toilet, sink, dignity—all drenched. Getting to the street means Everest Jr. every time, so leg day is included free of charge.
Breakfast? One lonely pancake, a couple slices of fruit doing community service, and coffee that tastes like it was brewed behind the Iron Curtain. Technically food, but don’t expect fireworks.
Then there’s the location. Restaurants? Forget it. It’s either a 20-minute trek, a rented scooter, or flagging down a taxi. Basically, your dinner comes with a side quest.
Highlight? Our personal mosquito security guard: a gecko. We named him Sir Lick-a-Lot, because that little dude licked everything and hunted bugs like a tiny scaly Avenger.
Verdict: comfy bed, jungle views, tragic coffee, forced fitness program, and one badass...
Read morePositive: nice and kind staff/owners, amazing view, nice furniture
Negative: totally wet bathroom and bedroom, the smell of mold is huge and intolerable! If you are allergic, this is nothing for you! Even though we still have open window, nothing change. Breakfast should be bring on room at specific time, but it doesnt work and we have to go for breakfast alone. But breakfast was good and you can choose from three options. Also there is one more negative- really big and slippy stairs. If it is raining, you must be careful! Nothing for old and disabled people!
If you repair and remove the wet and mold from the room, it will be amazing stay. But now there is more negative...
