Bali Center for Artistic Creativity — Attraction in Pulau Bali

I’ve visited Bali many times and this time, my purpose was learning painting in Ubud and I was confident that BCAC is the right choice. I read posts and reels from the Instagram of BCAC and enrolled 3 classes. 🌷 In fact, I was a little bit afraid to fill empty canvas with still life, landscape or people. But my first class with Bruce completely made me free. He was a teacher for international school in many countries and has in-depth knowledge about art therapy and a lot of experience for teaching various people in Bali. Bruce said to me, "Do not think," and at that moment I felt at ease, and began to draw without hesitation. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to draw as my hands and mind wanted and the result was so satisfying. 😍 After finishing 3 classes, I enrolled 3 more classes. I was so pleased because my paintings reflected my unconscious, soul and dream. Also the atmosphere and the vibe in his studio were really inspiring!! He is humorous and witty and understands my inner part from my paintings. He always listens to my words and gives wonderful advice. 👍👍👍 Taking 6 classes, I was able to broaden my perspective on art. Thank you Bruce. I've been afraid of colour for years. Didn't have the confidence to get into it. Bruce was able to demystify it and gave me the confidence to have a go. He's obviously a very talented artist with significant background in the arts as a teacher and practicing artist. So I feel privileged to have had that one on one experience. When I'm next in Ubud, I'll be returning....

My 2 lessons so far with Bruce have exceeded my expectations. First lesson on steiner color theory, second on portraits. Cant wait for third on oil painting! His background in art, teaching and psychology are very evident in his skillful, thoughtful and generous teaching. He is there with you every step of the way. It is changing the way I see the world, and then reflect it....
