Guys, it's so bad. It was very bad breakfast and very bad service. Green tea latte was 3 in 1 green tea latte from indomaret, but ur price of it is 40k. Then about food and service. I don't know why but it was 4 people inside of the bar and they were talking loudly, were eating something.I ordered ceasar salad and avocado toast. They took my order and gone, after few minutes came back and said - sorry we don't have baby romano leaves, we cannot make a ceasar. I said - u can change baby romano for some other greens. They said ok and gone. 10 minutes later she back to me and said - we have just 1 egg, but we should put 2 eggs to ur toast, so we don't have avocado toast... I said - ok, u can put just 1 egg. After 20 minutes they finally bring me my order and it was most terrible ceasar salad and avo toast in my life. Ceasar salad was full of mayonnaise. Just huge dose of mayonnaise and it was such a ceasar sause. Chicken was too fried, I even can't chew it. And they didn't put eggs to ceasar as well, caz they had just 1 egg.... But thet didn't replace egg for more chicken for example. It was very small portion of chicken, a lot of green leaves mixed with mayonnaise and that's all! Avo toast had very old not fresh bread, I even can't cut it by knife. And toast at all was absolutely untasted. On toast they put smashed avocado then cuted avocado and then poached egg and on the top a lot of disgusting 1000 island sause. It was unsalted, untested, I felt just a taste of 1000 island sause. And it should be with rukkola in menu, but rukkola wasn't rukkola, they put some other greens. And for all of these terribleness I paid 160k. For such an amount I can eat amazing quality breakfast in any fancy ubudian cafe. With good service. U guys charge not cheap price, but level of ur service and quality of ur food and how it cooked just worst. It's so unrespectable...
Read moreI’ve been searching for a great breakfast sandwich shop in Ubud for a while as that is my favorite breakfast. Sadly, this is not a winner. The service is just awful here. Waited 45 minutes for a breakfast sandwich that never came and I finally just walked out. Who knows what would have happened if I’d waited.. maybe I’d still be there. Sad.
Follow up: There is no POS because I didn’t wait for a bill and just walked out. The food never arrived and I never got a bill. The only thing I received was a coffee which I didn’t touch because I was waiting for my food. The owner is not being truthful or just doesn’t remember.
I sat in the room where they sell local handicrafts (see the photo I attached). When I arrived I was alone in the room. Two other tables arrived later—one much later—and both were served before I was. The owner is implying that I was impatient, but I even mentioned this to the staff and asked where my food was several times—and continued to wait—before I finally just walked out. At that point I told them “sorry, I don’t want to wait anymore” and I left.
Many people in Ubud are complaining about the service here. It seems to be a...
Read moreI used to come to this place pretty much daily for Amazing coffee and, most importantly, quiet atmosphere. The food was never a strong point here but the coffee and silence won me over every time (plus some amazing croissants showed up recently). Unfortunately I gave up on Gangga. I can't focus on work or chill out here any more. There's more staff now, and they all seem bored and more interested in shouting and laughing and singing then making the customers feel welcome. I don't mean to be a grumpy witch, but their interactions are louder than the loudest volume setting on my headphones. Come on guys, that's not cool. The other day one of the staff put some super loud obnoxious weird music on her phone (in addition to the music already blaring from the speakers), and started dancing for someone on camera. I've asked on like 4 different occasions to be a bit more quiet, but it's not happening. Looking for a favourite...
