This review aims to provide insights into my experience, offering glimpses into the features that make The Westin Resort Ubud an extraordinary destination in Bali.

This villa category is not merely an accommodation; it's a serene retreat that celebrates the spirit of Ubud.

Read moreStayed 5D4N at Westin with family of 5. Service standards was impeccable - all the staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Kid's club- My 8 yo loved going to the kid's club everyday to do craft work, big thank you to the attentive ladies there! Fishing/farm/Bunnies - They also enjoyed feeding/interacting with the bunnies and had to go everyday to see them. Special thanks to Hufi who helped faciliate the bunny visits! They also crossed over to Westin ubud farm to experience fishing from the small pond (release it back after fishing) with a bamboo stick and feeding cows and ducks. Food - Tabia's Indonesian buffet dinner was authentic and delicious! They had Indonesian satay, sayur asem, fried tempeh, 2-3 different carbs (spaghetti/fried kway teow/fried rice/fried noodles etc), chicken, fish, beef done in different ways, soup noodles station etc. Chendol dessert was superb, along with the kuehs, cakes and cheesecakes. My kids loved the mini cheesecakes! The spread was adequate and had quality. Breakfast buffet was gd, with special juices bar and some interesting and unique healthy concoctions to try. Tall trees also had a good selection of food, kid's meal portion is sizeable and adequate and it kept my children happy with the pizzas, fries, pastas. Pool - the pool view was stunning, with a hot tub jacuzzi nestled in the centre area. We spent many hours at the pool and also did the pool aerobics offered. The children loved the pool! Staff at the pool was attentive and helpful. There was a big swing there which my kids had fun taking turns on it. Room - Clean and fluffy sheets, providing the best sleep every night! Our 2 rooms layout was family friendly with a little porch outside with nice jungle view. Location - The nearest waterfall is Tegenungan Waterfall (20 min drive away), it was beautiful! Be prepared to go down and up 165 steps to reach it, worth every step! Near many ATV providers (fun and exciting but proceed with caution as there are many steep declines and ascents through waterfalls and caves. Terrain is very rugged, might get thrown off if you don't have a gd grip and strength to control it.). Near Art village selling beautiful paintings. We made a trip to the art center for some shopping of souvenirs, crochet items etc. Overall, an excellent stay at Westin Ubud, my kids were all so reluctant to leave! We've stayed at Westin in various countries and the brand has always provided excellent standards...
Read moreI stayed here with my sister (who has Titanium Elite status) for two nights at the end of August 2025.||From the start, the service was impressive. My sister arranged airport transport through the Marriott Bonvoy app, and the driver was prompt, professional, and skillful in navigating Bali’s hectic traffic.||On arrival, staff surprised us with a birthday setup in the room—including a huge towel art arrangement (they even custom-made a star per my sister’s request), a handwritten card, and a delicious dessert. A blessing ritual on arrival added a thoughtful and unique touch.||Our room was updated, clean, and comfortable. Dining options were varied; we enjoyed the Balinese restaurant more than the Mediterranean, and breakfast—an included perk—was incredible, with plenty of delicious local and international options. The infinity pool was another highlight: spacious, with a swim-up bar, plenty of lounge chairs, and endless opportunities for stunning photos. The resort also offers cultural and wellness amenities, including a temple on the grounds, daily yoga, and a kids club.||We treated ourselves to spa services as well. I had a one-hour massage with Eli, who was excellent, and the pre-treatment blessing ritual made the experience feel extra special.||One of the most memorable parts of our stay was at the lobby lounge bar. The senior bartender (whose name I regretfully forgot, though he’s been with the hotel since its 2019 opening) delivered outstanding service. On our first night, we arrived close to 10 p.m. after dinner, only to find the bar closing. Yet the front desk and bartender reopened it for us, even extending Titanium Elite cocktail hour so we could enjoy complimentary drinks. The next evening, he personally crafted creative, off-menu cocktails tailored to our preferences, and they were fantastic.||Throughout the stay, staff were attentive, professional, and consistently went above and beyond. The property itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and welcoming, with thoughtful details like water refill stations.||Overall, this was a truly memorable experience—an elegant resort with phenomenal service, cultural touches, and warm hospitality that made us feel...
