I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tall Trees Restaurant in Ubud, and it was nothing short of breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, the setting immediately stood out—the restaurant overlooks a stunning stretch of jungle, offering an immersive and serene atmosphere that truly elevates the dining experience. It’s the kind of view that makes you pause and take it all in before even opening the menu.

The food lived up to the setting. We ordered two ribeye steaks, and they were cooked beautifully—tender, flavorful, and paired with sides that complemented the dish perfectly. While the prices were a bit higher than expected, especially compared to the general cost of dining in Bali (around £50 for both steaks, which is close to UK prices), the quality of the meal and the unforgettable surroundings justified the splurge.

The staff were also a highlight—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which added to the overall relaxed and enjoyable vibe of the afternoon. It’s clear that they take pride in creating a memorable dining experience for every guest.

We had an amazing experience at Tall Trees during our stay in Ubud. The service was nothing short of spectacular – every single staff member made us feel genuinely special and cared for. There were too many wonderful team members to mention by name, but their consistent warmth, attention to detail, and professionalism stood out and made every evening a real pleasure.

The food was outstanding. Special shoutout to the Wagyu selections – the ribeye, tenderloin, and tomahawk were all perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and truly memorable. Every dish we tried was excellent, but the Wagyu options were an absolute highlight and should not be missed if you love a great steak.

The setting right by the pool was beautiful and atmospheric. Despite being outdoors, it stayed comfortably cool in the evenings, creating a very relaxing and enjoyable dining environment.

A special shoutout to Yana, who went above and beyond to make the evening extra special. He was incredibly polite and ensured that everything was perfect throughout the meal.
