RedDoorz Near Kota Lama Semarang — Hotel in Semarang

Do not book to this hotel or you will regret it.|We booked this hotel for a night transit, based on the good testimonies in online booking apps. When we saw the hotel, it turns off immediately. It is located in a small dead end road near Kota Lama Museum, Semarang. When we come inside, the reception area smells like bathroom and the staff is not welcome at all. Not even a 1-star hotel look-a-like||When we enter the room, the nightmare is getting worse! The smelly room with dirty floor (we even does not touch the floor with barefoot & praying in the bed), broken bed with stained bedsheets & the pillows are smells of other's people hair/head sweat. The bathroom is also worst! The sink doesnt have waterpipe, si the water flows directly to the floor. The toilet seat is broken, they dont even provide tissue and it has very bad smell.||We finally decided to checked out the same day coz we can not even rest in this place. ||We have checked in several reddoorz chain, but this one is the worst and looks does not even have control at all. The service given is somewhat excellent. The warm water could work properly and they change towel and refill up the mineral water in each room regularly. The staff also clean up the room every day. Some things that they have to improve are only to be clearly stated tgat smoking is prohibited and to tell the visitors to take care for the silence on night time. The other things are they have to check the empty gallons on each floor regularly (yes! They provide you with the mineral water gallons, located on each floors). Please also kindly check the body soap, soap and the sampoo, even tough it was still okay for me because I brought my own sampoo and body soap. This is quite accessible with any kinds of public transportation such us angkot and online transportation (I'm not sure if it's about TransSemarang). This place has a huge one parking area. I went to semarang city to deal with house certificate legality. I stay for days here. I like the location the most.Its close to the city . The room not so clean but enough for me. I dont have OCD so over all is okay. I like the fact that the AC is cool, i like the tv, i like the small storage, and lil table, like that my room have windows. I also like the parking lot.
