Pakne Heksa Sidorejo — Restaurant in Semarang

The resto tent drew my attention because while I was walking a long the street bank, there were several tents that has the same resto name an same menu on their banner, even ine of them had a permanent place. Every tent was full of customers, fortunately I was walking behind several locals finding a place to eat. They didn't hesitate to pass to the next resto when they found the resto was full. It convinced me that the quality aming the restos were equal. At last they stopped at the third tents and start to order after found their seat, btw there's several tents with the same name in front of us! I didn't know how to order until some asked me have you ordered? Don't have any idea what to order, I just ordered the same next to my seat. Fried chicken-prawn-pete. Again the order came with plat but no rice, a guest then told me to take the rice by myself from a big rice basket on the table. Actually the taste was average. Its a sinfull supper , but worth it to take. The fried duck is so smooth , very much tasty , and soft. Another food we can choose is chicken , prawn , and catfish. The best part of the meal is sambel uleg , we can choose the hot level according to our preference and we can refill it for sure. Also for the rice , we can refill it as much as we can fill our stomach. Enak, menu lauk gorengnya manis berkécap, selalu ramai pergi datang penikmat. Bebek, Ayam, Burung Dara, Udang.... juga terong dan peté gorèng plus lalapnya, nasi dihitung per orang.... sudah ada sejak puluhan tahun lalu. Sekarang masih ada bahkan di Jln Mataram ke utara terpisah jalan dan 2 toko ada Pakné Heksa (rumah).... jalan ke utara sekitar 2 toko hingga samping Kp. Bubudan ada Pakné Heksa (Warung Tenda)... Saya tambahkan ulasan... bukan tentang Pakné Heksa tapi Gardu Travo Listrik PLN yang ada di depannya, di sudut Utara Sidorejo (Kebon Cino / Boncino) dengan Jalan Mataram. Jaman kecilku..... SD (lulus SD tahun 1970), Utara persis Gardu tsb. adalah Koplak, lokasi parkir atau mangkalnya Dokar (sekarang antara lain jadi Toko T), yang dilengkapi Kios-kios.... tempat saya membeli Kak untuk nggelas benang agar tajam dan menang untuk adu layang-layang, sebelum ada benang gelasan Toko. Kak saya tidak paham dibuat dari apa, jika direbus dengan takaran yang tepat saat itu saya taunya untuk nggelas benang. Eh eh eh.... ingat 50 tahun lebih lalu....
