I recently had an amazing stay at this hotel in Oranmore, just a quick 10-minute drive from Galway. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and had all the essentials. The comfortable bed, pleasant room temperature, and pristine bathroom made my stay even more enjoyable. The added bonus of free parking right outside my window ensured a peaceful experience without any disruptive noises. The included breakfast was a highlight, offering a delicious variety of options. I indulged in poached eggs with avocado and bacon on a brioche bun – truly spectacular. What set this experience apart was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, both at the hotel and in the restaurant. The restaurant itself was charming, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its great location, delightful dining options, and above all, the outstanding service provided by the staff. It's a fantastic choice for a memorable stay near Galway.

Oben irisch, unten italienisch.

We were disappointed with our four night's B&B. The food was good. The breakfast was taken in the attached Bistro where we also took evening meals and arranged that they be paid for at the end of our visit.|Disappointment No 1 During the second night we were kept awake by loud talking, singing, shouting and general rowdiness from what sounded like 3/4 intoxicated males. The noise was coming from beneath our first floor room - either in the Coach House yard, or immediately next door behind the pub. The latest noise we heard was 0215, when things went quiet. I reported the problem to the receptionist in the morning. She said she would speak to the night porter. That's all she said. No apology, or what she would speak to the porter about, and there was no feedback on any occasion after the complaint.|Disappointment No 2. Following breakfast on our final morning, I asked to settle the bill before collecting our bags and handing in the keys. The receptionist gave me a till receipt which only covered the previous night's meal and drink. When I pointed out that it should include four evening meals, she simply said "Oh!". She spent some time tapping the computer screen and gave me another till receipt which was slightly lower than my mental calculations - about 8 euros lower. There was no apology or thank you for me pointing out her potential loss. I paid it and when returning to hand in our keys she said, "Oh, you still owe us 9 euros." When I asked what for she answered that the last bill was wrong. Again no apology. Being frustrated at her inefficiency and aloof manner I asked for a detailed breakdown of the correct bill before I would pay anything extra. After five minutes of screen tapping I then received a bill showing four simple lines of type showing a total for each day - not the detail I asked for, expecting the price of each meal and each drink. It did not explain how the paid bill was different from the final one. I protested while she was dealing with my credit card, told her I would post a poor review and left. She didn't say a word, either of apology for the inconvenience, or thank for pointing out her errors. They are so busy, both in the hotel, and the bistro/restaurant that customer service has been forgotten, and there is a serious training need in staff showing that they care and want to provide...

Booked for 3 nights- left after 2 Hotel looks really nice with a lovely restaurant, staff were pleasant. However room was clean but very basic. Toilet and w.h.b small and low quality. Lighting in shower room very dim as a result, bumped my forehead on a glass shelf which comes out to half way over the tap.the shower was excellent but flow at w,h,b little more than a trickle, hot and cold. Plug didn't hold water so had to keep water running. We requested a quiet room but the noise from around 11 pm till after 1 30 was awful and continuous, bumping, banging, furniture scraping, we presumed from the restaurant clearing up and preparing for breakfast. We thought we had booked bed and breakfast but when sitting down for dinner first night the waitress informed us, (without asking her,) "breakfast is not included." At €459 for our 3 night stay was a bit of a shock. On our booking confirmation it offered us lunch for €10 per head per day, and dinner for €10 per head per day, when this was pointed out to staff, the manager was called, at which point he refused to honour this, blaming the booking agent for the "mistake" however as goodwill gesture he offered us a...

I made two separate reservations for two consecutive nights as our plans changed. I confirmed that I would not have to change rooms because of the separate reservations.| |Upon arrival I was told I would have to change rooms despite having written guarantee that I would be in the the same room. I was told to put my bags back in my car as they had no where to store them. |I asked to see the manager and was told they were not there and would reach out to me later in the day. The did not.|The code to open the first floor was unnecessary as the door was unlocked 24/7. |The tubs in both rooms had significant cracks on the exterior and one had no safety handles or non skid mats. I did partially fall getting out while making great effort not to fall. |There is some kind of a patio on the first floor with instructions do something specific if you go out there so you don’t lock yourself out. The ironing board is in the hallway, the iron is at the front desk, which if often unmanned, there are 6 parking spots, and the bathtubs and toilets need a good cleaning. ||I do not recommend this hotel. This is the first bad review I have ever written...
