Agriturismo le Vigne — Hotel in Bolsena

Beautiful family-run place with lovely and helpful staff. Very close (5 minutes walking) to Bolsena-city, but still in its own quiet setting looking over the city. Big relaxing garden, where you always find a shade to sit down. There is also a small pool, mainly used by children. There are 3 separate houses,with several rooms in each house. We had a big room for 3 people, very comfortable beds and a big bathroom. ||||The breakfast was very good, including fresh fruit and vegetables and a huge selection of cakes :) We ate also twice the dinner, which contained everything from antipasto, primo, secondo e dolci (and housemade wine). The dinner was set in the beautiful garden. ||||The hostess Stefania was very kind and helpful and made sure that we feel comfortable all the time. We are a group of 9 people walking a section of the via Francigena while having our luggage transferred. I have , inadvertently, booked all of us at an Agriturismo of the same name but in a completely different party of Italy. I get a call from the Stefania, the owner of the Agriturismo, informing me that she received our luggage but has no record of reservations. We were so fortunate to have accommodations for all of us . Stefania went above and beyond to provide us an amazing experience while giving us a discount and advising us of dinner options .|We had a very delicious and generous breakfast that comprises homemade cakes along with everything else you expect at an American breakfast. The Agriturismo has an amazing view of lake Bolseno. We will definitely return and spend few days chilling. Thank you Stefania for bailing us out and to top it off, the Agriturismo we had booked our stay erroneously at, insisted on not charging our stay while wishing us a great holiday in Italy. Es handelt sich um ein Agriturismo mit ca. 12 Zimmern, wovon sich ein Teil im Haupthaus und der Rest in zwei separaten einstöckigen Gebäuden (ehemals Scheune oder Ställe) befinden. Von einem Bauernhof ist hier nichts mehr zu spüren, man hat vielmehr das Gefühl, in einem edlen Landhaus zu wohnen. Übernachtung wahlweise mit Frühstück oder Halbpension. Große Zimmer mit hohen Decken, geflieste Böden, Klimaanlage, im antiken italienischen Stil möbliert, davor Terrasse und Sitzgelegenheit. Weitläufiges, sehr gepflegtes Anwesen mit Swimmingpool und sehr vielen Möglichkeiten zum Verweilen. Teilweise überdachter Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Le Vigne liegt direkt oberhalb von Bolsena mit Blick auf den See und die wunderschöne Altstadt. Der See ist ca. 15 Gehminuten entfernt, in das Ortszentrum läuft man ca. 8 Minuten. Es werden kostenlos Mountainbikes zur Verfügung gestellt.||||In Bolsena selbst erhält man alles, was man braucht. Es gibt viele Restaurants und Cafés und Eisdielen, entweder in der Altstadt oder auch direkt am See. Für Wasserratten ist der See ideal, es geht seicht hinein und das Wasser ist sehr sauber. Es gibt einen öffentlichen Strand sowie ein kleines Strandbad mit Wassersportmöglichkeiten und Restaurant. Bolsena liegt im Dreiländereck Latium-Umbrien-Toskana. Die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten sind daher zahlreich, z.B. Viterbo, Civita di Bagnoregio, Tuscania, Orvieto (Umbrien), Sorano/ Sovana/Pitigliano (Toskana). Auch eine Rundfahrt um den See ist zu empfehlen. ||||Die Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft der Gastgeberfamilie kann man gar nicht genug loben. Verständigung auf Englisch und Italienisch, kein Deutsch. Zimmerreinigung täglich, alles blitzsauber und ordentlich. Frühstück und Abendessen im Restaurant im Haupthaus.. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet eine große Auswahl an Herzhaftem und Süßem. Abends besteht die Möglichkeit, ein 4-Gang Menü einzunehmen. Man kann das Essen morgens für den Abend vorbestellen. Fantastische italienische Küche von der „Mamma“ zubereitet - auch fangfrischer Fisch aus dem See - zu einem sensationellen Preis von 25 EURO inkl. Softgetränke und/oder Rot- bzw.
