BAR CENTRALE PIZZERIA di Polsi Emilia — Restaurant in Bolsena

Hands down the best coffee we had in Tuscany. No bitterness at all, for me. Would love to know how they do it. They also had yummy sponge rolls and the lady who worked the counter wasn't harsh to tourists just trying to enjoy a slice of small-town Italian peace and quiet on a weekday. Lots of older locals stop by on a regular basis (they were welcomed by name), so they must appeal to Italian tastes also. The location at the plaza makes it a good spot for people-watching. Outside, enjoy a view of Bolsensa's beautiful tree-lined drive. Be sure to stop by the pastry shop next door for some hazelnut cookies. You won't regret pairing one of those with a cafe latte...

We stayed in Bolsena for 9 days and we visited this restaurant 3 times. The staff, especially the owner were very nice. He genuinely cared about all the guests eating there. The food was okay and well priced. The portions (and pizza's) were smaller, but just enough to feel satisfied. I will definitely go here another time...

Metto 1 perché 0 non si può Questa mattina entriamo x fare colazione e ci fanno accomodare fuori Un tavolo appena libero non era stato ancora pulito, ci accomodiamo lì aspettando il cameriere Costui arriva e semplicemente toglie la tazza sporca del signore di prima, senza minimamente preoccuparsi di pulire il tavolo e svuotare il posacenere. Neanche 1 minuto arriva la nostra colazione....dove viene servita?????? Sul tavolo sporco!!!!!!! Lo facciamo gentilmente notare...a vuoto! Il cameriere se n'è fregato altamente, è riuscito a servire 3 tavoli consecutivamente e nonostante siamo rimaste a guardarlo senza consumare, non si è preoccupato minimamente. Mi alzo e me ne vado a trovare un altro bar...mia sorella mi segue. Solo una parola ZOZZONI ALLA FACCIA...
