LOOM Hotel — Hotel in Bolzano - Bozen

We are truly baffled by the positive reviews, which were the basis for us choosing this hotel. But also the reason we feel we needto write a review. On the plus side, we were nicely welcomed and the rooms were clean. The owner/manager brought us a fridge to the room as there wasn't one and they offered us bicycles to use. Breakfast was really nice. On the other hand, the location is unfortunately much worse than described. It is an active industrial estate with truck noises all night. It didn't feel safe and felt like we were sleeping in a motorway service station. The view is really depressing. The room had mold over one window, no safe, only one light switch for all lights and very uncomfortable beds - we were four in a room and we are tall but haven't ever had issues elsewhere. We didn't sleep at all. We couldn't keep the window open as the noise was too loud. We had booked last minute for two nights but requested to check out early as we couldn't sleep there another night. At first this didn't seem a problem snd we were met with understanding. We even thought they offered us a reduction for the bad night but only a cappucino. However it ended with an argument and a horrible feeling where the owner/ manager refused to shake my husbands hand. We travela lot around the world but have never had this. We wanted to try something new in Bolzano and trusted the reviews but we cannot recommend this place at all. It is also not good value for money. 3 star hotels in a beautiful location in Bolzano old town are around 20%...

Wir sind hier in einem Industriegebiet in dem super eingerichteten Hotel Loom. Die Möbel, die Leuchten, alle Kissen und die Holzwände , sowie der Eichenboden geben uns das behagliche Gefühl.. hier hat jemand gewusst, wie man Stimmungen erzeugt. Die Dusche hat eine coole Regendusche, aus der sanft das Wasser auf dich herab fließt. Die Toilette war separat, was praktisch ist. Ein großer Schrank gibt genügend Raum für die Kleidung und alles ist modern mit Filz ummantelt. Der Flat Screen hing an einer total leichtgängigen Halterung und das Programm hat deutsches Fernsehen parat. Ja und zum Schluss das Boxspringbett in 180 x 200. Es ist super bequem und die graue Bettwäsche war nicht nur schön sondern auch glatt. Premium Qualität. Da wir in höherpreisigen Hotels nicht so hochwertige Ausstattungen hatten, möchte ich das wirklich hervorheben. Denn der Schlaf ist für uns sehr wichtig. Ausgesucht hatte ich es weil wir mit zwei Hunden reisen und es bestimmte Kriterien erfüllen muss. Es gab ein hochwertiges Bett für sie und zwei Porcellan Schalen. Das Frühstück war mit hochwertigen Zutaten, tollen Tees und Café‘s mehr als reichlich und lecker angerichtet. Ganz viel Bio.. wir freuen uns, wenn wir wieder kommen. I stayed at this hotel last night. I was welcomed (even though I arrived after check in time). Very friendly. The room was beautiful. Very modern . The whole hotel is decorated very modern and slightly quirky. Bed very comfortable, there was even a kettle and tea. |Breakfast was fantastic. I think the best I have ever had in Italy.
