Locanda Restel de Fer — Hotel in Comunità Alto Garda e Ledro

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, everything was outstanding. The breakfast was varied and tasty, with a new dish offered every day. We often had breakfast outside, which was very cozy with a view of the garden.

The room was absolutely worth the price: spacious, luxurious, and comfortable. The bed slept wonderfully, the balcony was perfect for enjoying an evening cup of tea, the shower was excellent, and there was air conditioning. The room was beautifully cleaned every day, which felt wonderful to come “home” to.

The location was also ideal, only about 20 minutes from the city center, which was very manageable and gave us the chance to see more of the area along the way. There was also a convenient parking lot right across from the hotel.

A special compliment goes to front desk staff Mihail. He truly made our stay even better. He was always ready to help, answered all our questions, provided valuable tips, made reservations for us, and did all this with a warm smile. Mihail truly added extra value to both the hotel and our stay.

Tip: if you stay here, don’t miss out on buying their homemade olive oil!

My stay at Locanda Restel de Fer in the charming town of La Garda was truly unforgettable. This boutique hotel beautifully blends traditional Italian charm with modern comfort. The rooms are tastefully decorated, impeccably clean, and offer a cozy, relaxing atmosphere.

The location is perfect—just a short walk from Lake Garda, making it easy to explore the town and enjoy the scenic surroundings. Breakfast was a delightful experience, served in a lovely garden with fresh, local ingredients and plenty of delicious options.

What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional hospitality. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to offer helpful recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area.

It was an extraordinarily nice and kindful stay. The room is fully renovated, we had a small suite and it was absolutely worth it (very fair price). Huge & quiet terrace, modern bathroom and a really high quality comfortable bed. Super clean and nice.

Everyone was nice and helpful, we felt as we were guests "of the family". Breakfast really good, fresh cut fruits, cereals, cake, bread, Italian ham, various cheeses and if the weather is fine you should enjoy the garden.

We didn't enjoy the wine tasting but will do next time definitely, the cellar looks very nice and the details in the whole building are one of a kind.

On top of all that, all the people were nice to our dog also and it was a joy having some conversations with the owners and family.
