What a wonderful place! Not a high end luxury experience, but such a perfect place to stay in the historic area of Crema which really captured the feel of Europe and northern Italy (at least for us Americans). The small staff was one of the friendliest we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with and was extremely welcoming and helpful, from going out of their way to procure as well as return our bicycle rentals for us, to recommending where to go and making reservations for us.
Our suite was like having a large private apartment in Crema all to ourselves and was thoroughly clean (my wife is a stickler for a clean room and despises seeing any hair from previous guests lying around as is often the case in hotels, and she was amazed at how clean the suite was). If we were nitpicking, our only minor complaints could be that the lovely little pond outside our suite unfortunately had mosquitos and a few would make their way into our room, and also the shower head hangs from a hook on the wall rather than being tightly fixed to the wall so in order to shower we had to manually hold and manipulate the shower head in one hand while washing/scrubbing with the other. But for the price we paid, and the size of the private suite we got, we’re not complaining. (Note: we didn’t get to walk around the facilities much at all as we preferred to be out and about in the city as much as possible so I’m not sure what other amenities they have to offer, and we slept in during our stay so we didn’t have the chance to try their breakfast which was included with our stay, so I can’t review that either)
We highly recommend Ponte Di Rialto for helping make our romantic little stay in Crema a genuinely satisfying and memorable one, and we truly hope to make it back some day and stay...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Ponte di Rialto, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was immaculate, well-appointed, and offered a stunning view of the city. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. I was also impressed by the range of amenities provided, including the high-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, and complimentary toiletries. The hotel's location is perfect for anyone looking to explore the local attractions. It’s conveniently situated near major landmarks, shopping districts, and public transportation, making it easy to get around. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet. The variety and quality of the food were exceptional, catering to all tastes and dietary preferences. The dining area was clean and well-organised, and the staff was always on hand to assist with any requests. A special mention must go to the manager, Paolo Marino. He was amazing and truly looked after us during our stay. His dedication to ensuring guests have a memorable experience is evident in every interaction. Overall, my stay at Hotel Ponte di Rialto was nothing short of fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and luxurious stay. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to the area. Thank you, Hotel Ponte di Rialto, for making my trip...
Read moreI visited Crema with my daughter as I am a huge fan of the movie Call Me By Your Name which was filmed there and the surrounding areas. We chose this hotel on the recommendation of our tour guide Gary (The Elio Oliver Love Tour which I will do a separate review for) plus the fact that it had a 24 hour reception desk was vital as our flight into Bergamo was at 2am. ||Room 24 was on the second floor of the main building and was perfect for us as it was actually two separate bedrooms, both with king sized beds with a shared bathroom. I just loved the wooden shutters and sloped ceilings. The beds are firm which I like and as it faced the back of the hotel it was very quiet. Huge wardrobes - they could do to invest in a load of huggable hangers (the velvety coat hangers) but minor issue. There are a few spiders that find their way into the hotel but it’s a rural area and it can’t be helped. ||The breakfast was buffet style with scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fruit, apricot juice, ham, pastries, pancakes, tart ( if you know the film it was very much a Perlman’s breakfast!) ||The staff are brilliant and were very patient and helpful with my shockingly poor Italian (I tried!) and they happily accommodated every request such as an iron in the room and a take-out breakfast for a very early start one day to get to Sirmione before the crowds. ||In summary, great value for money hotel in a perfect spot for exploring the area with friendly...
