Residence Leggeri — Hotel in Domaso

We stayed here for 10 nights in May - was perfect!||Location - bit hidden, we drove past it about 4 times until we spotted it. 5 minute walk to Domaso one way, 10 minute walk to Gravedona the other way. ||Parking - secure parking behind a gate, no extra charge. ||Apartment - we stayed in apartment D which sleeps 4/6. Nice big bathroom and living/kitchen area, balcony was small but big enough. Bed was comfy. ||Garden - looks out directly onto Lake Como. Although there is a footpath next to it, it's low down so still have privacy. ||Cleanliness - couldn't have been cleaner, it was spotless. ||Payment - 50% deposit is required up front by bank transfer. We weren't too keen on this but took the risk, all turned out fine, it's just the way they do business. ||Stefan - what an amazing host, he even gave us a lift to a local restaurant in the mountains. Always happy to give recommendations, especially useful for hidden gems or local restaurants. ||I highly recommend this property, we wouldn't hesitate...

Just returned from a brilliant relaxing week. The accommodation was perfect, in terms of location,comfort and cleanliness. The owner Stafano was the perfect host and extremely helpful. Thank you Stefano. From the moment we arrived we knew we had made the right choice. Domaso may be at the top of the lake but is actually a great base to explore the lake and the surrounding area and it was so nice to return in the evening to the comfort of the residence. Domaso itself has a lot to offer in terms of places to eat if you only look and take the advice of Stefano. The next village and even Dongo are an easy walk from the residence and each have some decent restaurants. Milan is an easy train ride from Colico 20 mins drive away. Bellagio a 1 hour fast ferry trip each worth doing.||||Our week went so fast and we have no hesitation in recommending this property as an excellent...

We stayed in the appt for 6. This was huge with plenty of spaces which actually could easily fit 7 ppl. The place is right on the beach of the lake with pretty garden and plenty of benches to enjoy the beautiful lake. The owner was very warm and accommodating. The place's deco was slightly old-fashioned but regardless, it was well maintained. There are supermarkets for grocery 10minutes drive up and down Domaso. We stayed for 2 nights only but how we wished we have stayed longer. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the place especially the pretty garden, the beach and the lake. We were woken up every morning by the sounds of the waves and birds chirping away. The place was serene and calm, quiet yet easily accessed. We would highly recommend this place for anyone and would definitely stay here again next time we decided to come to...
