A great place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing place in Forio D’Ischia. For being a three-star hotel, the rooms are spacious and clean, they have a spa with a pretty sized pool overlooking the scenic Mt. Epomeo next to their cozy bar and a heated thermal pool near the spa. They also have a mini library with some English, French, Spanish and Italian books, perfect for bookworms like us. The location is great because it’s only a 5-minute walk to the center of town that has all the restaurants, bars, shops, historic churches and the main Forio port. It is a 10-minute walk to the nearest lovely public beach called Chiaia. There is also a bus stop in front of the hotel which worked well for us since we don’t drive and we wanted to explore the other parts of Ischia island with ease. In terms of service, the reception staff and workers are very helpful, hospitable and friendly. They also offer half-board stay or full board stay with very reasonable price, which means you can choose to dine at their restaurant that serves savoury and abundant Southern local dishes. We chose the half-board (lunch) with breakfast included because we wanted a full relaxation so not to worry so much where to dine during the day. We stay here almost every year and we were always satisfied going home totally...

Read moreI stayed at this hotel for 7 nights on a half board basis in July 2018, with my husband, my daughter and her friend, both over 18 years old. The rooms were clean, spacious with good air conditioning. Towels were charged daily, and the room cleaned daily. The poolside had plenty of sun beds, the pool was a good size and not crowded, the spa area provided a nice alternative with Jacuzzi and hot spa bath. Meals were excellent, good breakfast, poolside snacks and dinner was always tasty and plentiful. Waiting staff were very attentive particularly Pepe. The closest public beach is about 15 minutes walk away and is worth a visit, we did catch a bus to the next closest beach but to be honest it wasn't worth the extra effort. If you are looking for a lively hotel with lots of children's activities and entertainment this is not the hotel for you but if you are looking for a relaxing holiday with an authentic Italian experience then this is the hotel for you. This hotel is in a good location close enough to the town for a walk in the evening for a drink or a shop but not too far out and, it is close to the bus stop. Buses are an easy and inexpensive way to see the island. The staff speak perfect English and couldn't be more obliging I would definitely...
