I had lunch here with my wife and daughter and we were extremely impressed. We ordered two dishes of scialatelli alla siciliana and one dish of ziti al sugo con braciola; we were about to order more but the waiter kindly told us to wait, that these were almost one-dish meals (he was right). Both dishes were daily offers. The Scialatelli, a fresh pasta about one-third shorter than spaghetti, was with olives, capers, tomatoes and diced swordfish. The swordfish was perfectly cooked and it was a lot, basically a whole portion. A wonderful dish with bold flavours. The Ziti, a bigger short pasta, was with a braciola, a pork roll with filling that's cooked in tomato sauce, and obviously the sauce. Having lived in Naples for a few years I had quite a few of these and I can say this was likely the best. The braciola was melt-in-mouth tender (a typical was this dish can fail is that the braciola gets dry) and the sauce was super tasty and had just the right amount of cheese in it. Both dishes were huge, with tons of meat, and after cleaning the plates with some bread we were full. We still ordered some desserts out of gluttony, a cheesecake, an ice cream and a sorbet. They were all great. With two bottles of water, a beer, a digestive and service we spent 79 euros. I can't recommend this...

It's simple, we stayed 4 nights in Ischia, and for 4 evenings we had dinner at Tinaia. We found it by chance on our first night and had to wait 15min to be seated. There's usually a waiting line but it goes quite quickly. The staff is super helpful, and there are a lot of them so the service is quite fluid. And the food was of the highest quality despite the low price point compared to other eateries on the island. Had pizza, spaghetti vongole, breaded veal, lemon cream spaghetti and gnocchi with meatballs among other things and all were absolutely delicious! And let's not forget their dessert section where you can choose from a variety of homemade desserts as well as ice cream and homemade crepes. The man makes the ice cream cones himself in a waffle machine, it's insane and really good! Apparently locals from all over the island come just...

Slightly odd looking place from the outside in that it looks a bit like you're entering a yard, but once inside it's a really big courtyard covered by large canopies and umbrellas. There are several buildings directly off the courtyard so you can eat inside if you prefer. Atmosphere outside was lively and you can smoke at the tables if you wish. Menu was fairly similar to others but they had a proper pizza oven as well, plus various specials on boards around the walls. We wanted pasta and found that this was one of the few places in Forio that we could get a Bolognese sauce. Wifey had the carbonara which she enjoyed. Prices were very reasonable with our bill for bruschetta, pasta, coffee and a round of drinks coming to €36. Staff were very attentive and service was quick. Steady stream of people coming and going, with many...

This restaurant definitely serves amazing, authentic Italian food - probably the best we had on the island. The seafood risotto was top tier, as was the pizza, and AMAZING fried calamari. However the initial service unfortunately wasn’t as great. We waited in line for about 45 minutes which wasn’t too long for a weekday night but many locals walked right past us and got a table. It’s definitely frustrating when you feel like you’re being ignored and there is a sense of no direction / organization. When we finally did sit down the food came quick and our server was kind. I would recommend going here for the food but just be warned that you will likely have to be assertive in order to get a table, especially as a tourist.

Budget friendly place with good food. We had to wait in line like 30 minutes to be sitted on a 5 persons table. Here you migh find almost everytime a big queue (see photos) The stuff is nice and friendly, they put us on a waiting list and everytime someone was getting up, the guy from the entrance was calling outside the restaurant the name of the person who was next on his list and sitted them on a table. When we were sitted they came to take our order pretty fast. The pasta was delicious and the pizza, ok. The prices are low and the food has good quality. I have added some photos from the menu from september 24.

A local restaurant that offers amazing and authentic Italian dishes! The seafood they serve are fresh and the pasta are homemade. The pasta with rabbit was exquisite and so are the mussels with octopus and tagliatelle with ground meat and tomato sauce! The staff are nice and friendly and they serve (and refill) a complementary bread basket. Prices are more on the pricier side (except the pizzas) but really worth it plus the service charge is already included in the prices. The restaurant is open for the most part of the day but kitchen only from 6 pm while pizzas only from 7 pm.
