Don’t let the casual look fool you—this place is a hidden gem! 🍕✨ I asked for a table for two and was curious about the slogan on the team’s t-shirts: “Le Viege.” The owner (Geppo, if I caught the name right) smiled and explained it’s their signature pizza. The way he described it—well, let’s just say I didn’t even bother looking at the menu. I ordered Le Viege for myself and a porcini pizza for my partner. When the pizzas arrived… wow. I should have asked about the size—it was the BIGGEST pizza I’ve ever seen! At first glance, mine looked like a mountain of salad: wild crunchy rocket, sweet juicy tomatoes, and generous shavings of parmesan. For a moment, I thought: “Wait, did I just order a salad?” 🥗😅 But then came the surprise. Hidden underneath this heavenly garden was the actual pizza—perfectly folded, oozing with melted cheese, Parma ham, salami, and porcini mushrooms. Every bite was an explosion of flavors. Was going to give this place a miss as all the tables seemed to be outside and it was pretty windy, but we stuck our heads in and lo, they had three tables inside. Tiny place, basically it's a pizza takeaway with a bar and some tables. Absolutely no frills. The pizzas are made right there in front of you, from kneading the dough to baking in a stone oven, 15 mins from start to finish. And they taste fantastic. My wife even ate her crust and she never does that. Praise indeed. Very wide selection but they sell nothing else. Every other one was for take out. I camerieri sono disorganizzati, se ne salva solo uno che gira spesso tra i tavoli per sparecchiare e fare sedere altra gente. Io faccio l'errore di ordinare un saltimbocca dalla loro sezione panini. Al solo primo morso vedo un insettino ,mi dico che può capitare, togo via quella parte e cerco di mangiare il resto ma non ci riesco perché ne trovo altri e mi rendo conto che sono i classici insettini della farina quanto è troppo vecchia. Mi è salito il disgusto ,ho lasciato praticamente tutto il piatto . Il cameriere ci chiede com'è andata e io in imbarazzo dico "mmh non saprei" e lui vedendo il piatto ancora pieno dice di passare più tardi. Alla fine non ho detto niente perché c'erano proprio dei ragazzi affianco a noi a mangiare una pizza e una famiglia con bambino sulla nostra destra che hanno aspettato quasi un'ora per avere la pizza (infatti il bimbo si è messo a fare i capricci dicendo di avere fame e che si scocciava).
