Hotel Bellavista — Hotel in Frascati

We chose it because of its location (in the centre of Frascati yet very near the train station) and because the option of booking a parking space. We were happy with our choice! There is a fantastic link to Rome and loads of restaurants in the area - our favourite was Il Torchio, followed by Ara Anua||The hotel deco was a bit old fashioned , but functional, kind of vintage not in a cool hipster way... breakfast was good for a 3 star hotel, coffee was pretty decent ;)|But:|No minibar|No hairdryer|No posh shampoo and conditioner but it did have an all-in-one shower gel dispenser! ||The receptionists were quite comical ... their personalities could not be more different. One was quiet, super polite and always had a smile, British correctness a la italiana!.., The other one: a long haired, long beard (that longed for a good clean) guy with some sense of humour... Both helpful in their own ways.||Parking in the hotel parking was challenging, but they were happy to helpus. Parking in the streets of Frascati looked even more challenging!!! So very happy we were able to park in the hotel courtyard. ||We went on a few day trips from there: Tivoli, Catel Gandolfo, Ostia Antica... all of them well worth it !||If we go back to Frascati we will seriously consider going back...

State molto attenti a questa struttura. Abbiamo prenotato tramite booking un b&b,dalle foto,molto ben tenuto, Antica Terrazza Frascati, la prenotazione va a buon fine e mi arriva anche la conferma. Dopo un po'mi arriva la chiamata dalla struttura dicendomi che avevano visto la mia prenotazione ma che sfortunatamente non avevano posto(già qua dovevo sentire puzza di bruciato) e mi propongono un'altra struttura di loro proprietà,appunto l'hotel bellavista, dicendo che allo stesso prezzo avremmo soggiornato in un hotel 3 stelle con colazione inclusa. Mi chiedono però una cortesia, di cancellare la prenotazione su booking perché non avremmo soggiornato li. Ingenuamente, e fidandomi dell'albergatore, cancello la prenotazione su booking chiedendo l'invio di un messaggio in cui mi si confermava la prenotazione all'hotel bellavista, che arriva puntuale. Arriviamo all'hotel bellavista e solo al momento dell'arrivo, una dipendente mi dice che a causa di un imprevisto che ha allagato due stanze non hanno la stanza per noi e che ci deve portare in un'altra struttura. Ci dirigiamo in questa struttura, a piedi con le valigie, ed arriviamo in un posto che mi dispiace definire bettola ma non so che altro termine usare, odorava di chiuso da chissà quanto tempo, luci che non funzionavano e bagno improponibile. Al che mi arrabbio perché dico che ho sbagliato a cancellare la prenotazione su booking all'epoca e che non possono relegarci in quel posto a loro piacimento. Da lì la dipendente ci porta in giro per frascati a cercare un albergo insieme a lei, sempre con le valigie al seguito fino a che non ci porta a parlare con quello che credo sia il propietario o che ne fa le veci. Prende e ci porta in un altro b&b, sicuramente migliore del precedente, ma con il bagno in comune! Se non fosse che non vi era nessun altro oltre noi in quel b&b eravamo andati alla prima stazione delle forze dell'ordine perché non è possibile trattare così dei clienti. Con il rischio di trovarci a frascati senza una soluzione per dormire. Comunque paghiamo la parte pattuita e loro mettono la differenza(almeno questo), spacciando il b&b per un 3 stelle pari al loro albergo, quando poi non siamo idioti da non sapere che un b&b non potrà mai essere un 3 stelle. Per quieto vivere, e per la professionalità del dipendente di quel b&b, ed essendo soli nella casa, decidiamo di accettare. Ma state molto attenti, gli albergatori si lamentano delle commissioni di booking ma in alcuni casi, con questi tipi di albergatori, booking è l'unico che può darti un po'di sicurezza di non essere preso per i fondelli da...

This small and nice hotel is located at the center of Frascati at a short walk from the train station. A train to Rome and back departs every hour for € 2.10 per person and the duration of the trip is 30 minutes, so the hotel can accommodate those who intend to visit Rome as well. ||The hotel staff is welcoming and happily and smilingly helpful in every problem. We waited for a package sent to the hotel and although we made a check-out at the morning, the hotel received the package for us and kept our bags until we arrived at the evening (Thank you 😊, it saved ours trip). ||The room was simply decorated and although it was not was not very large it was sufficient. provides as well as shower.
