Alessandra — Hotel in Garda

This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the main Garda site, it is up hill but not a bad walk (even though the temperature was mid to high 30s!). First impressions are great and continue as the owner and family make you feel welcome and are very helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The room we had was quite large with a large very clean bathroom and large balcony. Breakfasts are plentyful with lots of choice, the staff always asks if you want cooked eggs every day. The hotel has a lovely pool and garden area which is kept tidy. The hotel has a bar which runs from 2pm til 10pm. I can't recommend this hotel enough and made our stay in Garda very relaxing. The aircon in the room was great ( needed it as the weather was high 30s). We stayed at Hotel Alessandra for a week in August 2024 and it had everything we needed. Alessandra and her team were very welcoming, friendly and happy to help with any queries. We had a lovely balcony room with a view of the lake - this had recently been refurbished and had plenty of storage, a great shower and efficient air conditioning! It was also spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice of bread, rolls, croissants, fruit, cereal, meats, cheeses and juices - cooked eggs are also available on request. Tables are laid out in the breakfast room or outside overlooking the pool. There is a free bus which does a circular route around the town (including the bus station and lakefront) every half hour and the stop is just 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing stay...

We've just arrived home from a week's holiday at Hotel Allessandra, and we would definitely return. The whole place - rooms, gardens, breakfast room, pool, bar area - is immaculately clean and well looked after. There is a wide range of options on offer for breakfast, and all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. There are always plenty of sun loungers available, and we had a beautiful view from our balcony of the pool, gardens, mountains, and Lake Garda in the distance. The hotel is an easy 10 minute walk into the town, which is really pretty and offers everything you could need.
