We had a 15 day trip around Italy and stayed in 12 hotels.||I can not forget that we stayed in two 4-star hotels (Salerno Bologna) with full service and rich breakfast with 50 euros per night.||I can not fail to mention the best accommodation in Siena, a villa full of works of art, decorated to the last corner , with amazing antique bed and the best mattress of all the accommodation we stayed , with a rich breakfast prepared by the owner with a lot of love with great music and candles on the table , with 57 euros per night.||All options at the 12 hotels included a private room, a private bathroom, breakfast, a central point and a parking space.||My review of 88 Miglia , will take into account the facilities of the 12 hotels as well as the facilities I had of the three best I mentioned above.||It would be disrespectful if I gave a rating better than the three best accommodations that won my heart. ||88 Miglia is located high on a hill at a dead end. To find it there must be GPS.||This makes it ideal for those who want to relax away from the people . At the same time it offers a unique view of the surrounding area and the port.||There is a parking space in front of the property.||Although it is not new, the house is very well renovated and maintained, which seems to have been built this year. There is cleanliness and the bathroom offers everything one needs.||The downside is that it does not serve breakfast but has a machine where the guest can make coffee.||I want to thank the owner who, although we went late for check-in, left her father waiting for us.||The next day she gave us valuable information about the sights in the...

Read moreWe booked this place very last minute as me and my friend were travelling around Italy. First of all, the communication was fantastic. As soon as I had booked, I received an email asking what time we would be arriving and with useful information about the location and how to get there/ taxi prices from the train station. ||The location is a bit out of the way as it's about 1km into the hills of la Spezia; however, there are regular buses that go from the bnb to the town and also a taxi is only €12 (it is also walkable but with backpacks it was tiring!) ||The views are fantastic and as soon as we arrived the lady at the reception was super helpful. She told us everything we need to know/ do whilst in la Spezia (visiting the 5 villages of cinque terre is a must and definitely by boat!!) she told us all the best places to eat and drink and gave us a map with all these locations circled. ||The breakfast was excellent- it was only €5 each for each day and the service was personalised and friendly! The breakfast included ham, salami, cheese, bread rolls, croissants, unlimited coffee and juice and cereals and fruit. ||The room was modern, beautiful and very clean! We even had a mini bar (which was refilled every day) and of course you had to pay to use it but it wasn't expensive. The room had a hair dryer, towels and free toiletries and the air con was fab! ||Over all this was my favourite accommodation whilst travelling Italy. We only paid £35 a night to stay here and it was quaint in that there were only 5 rooms so it wasn't busy. 100% would stay again and have recommended to all my family...
