Hotel Eurostars Toscana — Hotel in Lucca

Terrible experience. We booked the hotel more than 2 months in advance, the informed check-out was at noon, which would be interesting to get to know the city in the morning. It so happened that at 08 am we were asked to leave the room because they were going to renovate the corridor (we were in a group of 05 people with 2 rooms and the hotel had the audacity to suggest crowding the 05 people in a single room so that they could do the renovation in peace - even having booked and paid for 02 rooms), we refused to leave at 08.00. We went for a walk around the city and when we returned the room door was open (anyone passing in the corridor would have access to our luggage), the entrance door full of fresh cement, the only way to enter the room and remove the luggage was to jump over the cement. Worst experience I have ever seen in any hotel in the world. We were treated as if the hotel was doing us a favor to letting us stay there, they not apologized for the inconvenience. If you plan to do a renovation you should block the hall rooms, or at least ask the client first if he is ok with that. We weren't, I wouldn't have chosen this hotel if I'd been told about...

Our stay was amazing. Thank you so much to the whole team! We arrived late at night with a little baby. Check in was super and very smooth. Breakfast is over the top. So good and nice. Very much applying to the Corona rules. It is a buffet but very well organized. I am very picky when it comes to food but this was really amazing. Lots of choice, fresh juices, meat and cheese, fruit, vegetables and a very good cappucchino! Plus the two girls in the breakfast room were very nice and very attentive. Thank you for making our breakfast so special. We asked for a late check out and it was all fine. Thank you again. It was much easier to stay in the cool hotel room then outside with 35 degrees. The room was nice, modern and comfortable. Very clean. You do not want to spend a weeks holiday there but this is not the intension of the hotel. It is made for short term stays and for this it is perfect! The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. The location is very convenient, situated just a 15-minute walk from the historic center of Lucca or about 4 minutes away by car. Another advantage is the availability of free parking, which made traveling in and out of the city much easier. Our room, however, was located on the first floor, and unfortunately, it was quite noisy both in the mornings and late at night, which affected the overall comfort. The breakfast provided was enjoyable and offered a decent variety, though it could have been more extensive to truly stand out.
