Poor experience, would not recommend this place to anyone.
We arrived to check in and the receptionist did not speak English (the hotel is located in Italy, a country visited by tourists and obviously if you work in hotels, English is necessary), at check in we were not asked for any proof of document , they just asked us our name and gave us the key to the room, which made us realize that anyone could stay there and the safety of other guests could be at risk.
Room full of dust, smelly sheets, old furniture.
-Very weak bathroom, the bathtub door closed badly and wouldn't stay closed, during the night someone from the next room was taking a shower and our room was flooded because water started rising from the bathroom drain, (during this event no one was at the reception during the night, we just put the towels on the floor and did check out the next morning).
Breakfast did not exist, only small supermarket croissants and biscuits were served, there was no bread, butter, ham or cheese to put on the bread, the mini croissants were hard, the microwave did not work. The coffee machine barely worked, there was no water on the coffee machine, there was no one to manage breakfast and help the guests. We went for breakfast early and this was what was there. I understand that they might say that this is Italian breakfast but it was practically non-existent, if we go to a cafe in the morning, we see that it is extremely rare to see Italians eating only biscuits and mini croissants for breakfast. We decided to go eat something decent at a cafe.
-WIFI barely worked.
The only good part is the location, because otherwise the room/hotel was super...
Read moreThe only good thing about this "B&B" was it's location. The train station is nearby and there's a bus stop very near to the entrance. Except that this was a total disaster. The apartment had a very bad smell because it wasn't cleaned for ages I guess. There was spider webs on the ceiling, paint was coming off, AC in the hall was not working, the kitchen fridge was not working so the owner put a mini fridge in the hall. The gas stove was not working so he put a hotplate in the kitchen. The utensils were literally soiled!!!! When I picked up a plate it was unwashed (it makes my toe curl!!) 10 packets of salt in the kitchen. All expired! There was a washing machine but no detergent. Wifi was not working. On top of this, this owner didn't inform us in the morning that he closes check in at 9.30 pm. We were running late but assumed we can check in whenever we reach. Luckily we opened our booking to check address to find his message saying he will close check in at 9.30. this message was sent to us at 8.45pm!!?! The guy was not even there when we reached and we did self check in- I don't understand why he didn't explain such simple thing on phone when he wasn't even going to be there. It's supposed to be b&b but there was no sign of any breakfast anywhere nor was there any intimation by the owner. I will not recommend this place! It was not good. The owner is a very rude guy and instead blaming us. Why open a b&b if U don't want to address the guests complaints. He instead complained against us god...
Stanza spaziosa, arredamento moderno. Caffè, the, latte a lunga conservazione, vasetti di yogurt, corn flakes.
