I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Villa Kastelruth during my winter vacation together with my family and it was truly a delightful experience! From the moment arrived, the warm and friendly staff made me feel welcome and ensured that all my needs were met.
The hotel’s location in the charming town of Kastelruth was a definite highlight. Surrounded by breathtaking Alpine scenery, it provided a peaceful and picturesque setting for a relaxing getaway. The views from my room were simply stunning, with majestic mountains visible from the balcony.
Speaking of the rooms, they were spacious, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. The comfortable bed ensured a restful night’s sleep, and the amenities provided added a touch of luxury to my stay. The attention to detail in the room design was evident, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
One aspect that truly stood out was the hotel’s culinary offerings. The breakfast buffet was a feast for the senses, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to suit every palate. The homemade pastries were a particular delight, and the attentive staff were always on hand to assist and replenish any items.
The hotel’s facilities were excellent as well. The wellness area with its sauna and spa facilities provided the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the surrounding area. I also appreciated the well-maintained outdoor areas, such as the garden and terrace, which provided additional spaces to relax and enjoy the stunning views.
What truly made my stay memorable was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Their genuine friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction were truly commendable. They were always available to offer recommendations, assist with any inquiries, and create a personalized experience.
Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Villa Kastelruth for a memorable and enjoyable stay in Kastelruth. With its stunning location, comfortable rooms, delectable cuisine, and exceptional service, it offers a truly remarkable experience. I would gladly return to this charming hotel...
Read moreThis Hotel located in the heart of Kastelruht holds the name of the town named by the Italians “Castelrotto”,since 1903 it became a guest house then originally it was built as a spa house, recently renovated. The welcome greeting was a little chit chat just to say hello to an arriving guest, because you have to,realized later that she was a novice at the desk with very little experience.Got to the room at the 3th floor and entered in a nice bright spacious one,not that big but with that huge terrace window the light filled the room with space and volume,it enhanced the presence of wood, plus a very nice view from it.A comfortable bed was at my disposal and the medium sized bathroom with a large wide shower was right at the entrance, the Room was clean and tidy and kept in good conditions,it was pleasant to stay. The restaurant was nicely set up and would convey about the food and service that in my opinion wasn't that great, well let's say the staff tried to be kind and attentive but was very superficial, food quality and the way it has been cooked/served nothing special, they tried to present it nicely, for me not remarkable or to say or comment it in a positive way.Breakfast did not look that interesting either, there wasn't a large choice of anything, very basic and at the end I wasn't really satisfied ,it was low quality for me,i recall very vividly my frustration because of it.The wellness located in the basement was looking out to the garden with a medium large swimming pool surrounded by grass and deck chairs. There was only a little sauna internally and a second one externally and the whirlpool outside with a small relax area, nothing that would widen my eyes but better than nothing. My final thoughts, after reminding myself how much it costed (290 € a night),i was very disappointed and its not worth it at all ,cannot offer a recommendation...
Read moreThe staff was amazing with our large group of 16! We opted for the breakfast and dinner included making it easy to know where we could eat. The views of the mountain would the best I have ever had. We had a swing bed on our balcony but it snowed so it was too cold to use it but I went out every morning to take photos. The breakfast had so many options and made everyone happy. The mid-day snack was a nice touch as well as the slippers and robe in our room. For the dinners we explored new foods and enjoyed the many courses. I appreciate that the room came with passes for the bus but you must do the pre-check in so they can email you. It made transportation from Bolzano simple. I would never want to drive up that mountain. It was also a short walk to the bus to get to the ski mountains. I spent my time on top of the mountains Alpe di Siusi. Pay to go up, even if you don’t ski. You won’t be disappointed! Best ski resort. Best staff. I couldn’t be more impressed...
