Pizzeria Restaurant Bachler — Restaurant in Salten-Schlern - Salto-Sciliar

Best of the 5 pizzas I had during my ski trip ( Gorgonzola with Rucola)..all of us had pizzas so I cannot comment on other dishes, but pizzas were very good, tasty, big enough for a hungry group. They close at 21.00, and they received us at 20.00- which was nice on their side. I liked their location too so all in all a nice dinner.

Side note, that I will add to all my reviews for the restaurants where we had dinner during our ski trip in Siusi: they do not answer the phone, when they finally answer, if they answer they had to pass me to 2-3 different persons, until someone understood English. I have not felt pampered in any of the restaurants - just a sheep among other 10000skiing sheeps;...

We found this hidden gem of a restaurant and would love to recommend it to everyone visiting Castelrotto/Kastelruth. From the street, you enter a simple doorway (or elevator) down to the Pizzeria Restaurant Bachler where you will find a lovely dining room which opens onto a large outdoor dining area and deck with a beautiful mountain view. The service is especially great and the food is presented beautifully and so delish you’ll want to come back...

Came here for pizza and beer! Perfect either for getting ready to hike the nearby Alpine Meadows or for returning from hiking the nearby Alpine Meadows. This is a little family run joint: if you show up at the right time you might see them eating together and it's really cute! The pizza ingredients aren't exactly what you'd find in America and it's the Italian style super thin crust, but don't let that discourage you! Tasty...
