Romantic Relais Sorrento — Hotel in Sorrento

Sally Smith & Rhian Havard 4 - 11 June 2022 My daughter and myself have just returned from a seven day holiday in Romantic Relais Sorrento, this is our second stay and both times were absolute perfectfection, the location, our hosts, our tours, everything. Our twin room was so very lovely, spotlessly clean, pristine white bedding, fluffy white towels tied with satin ribbons, tea & coffee, cookies in a jar and a large balcony with fantastic views over the bay of Naples. Our hosts Antonina and Guiseppe couldn't do enough to make our stay special. The warm welcome, the hot and cold buffet breakfast with a vast selection of goodies, plus tasty ommlettes made to order, all served with a smile by Guiseppe to our outside tables under sun shades, looking over the mature gardens of the hotel. We chose to eat most of our evening meals at the hotel, you could either eat on your balcony or on the first floor terrace overlooking the bay, or under the umbrellas in the garden area, there was a good choice of meals on the menu, all really tasty food cooked by the lovely Antonina and served with a smile by the ever attentive Guiseppe. There was a shuttle into town several times a day, in the morning up until 11.30 am and again in the evening until quite late, I think the last one home was 11.30pm. Antonina arranged our tours for us (there's a booklet available n the room for your selection) and the ones we selected were really most enjoyable and exciting, especially the speed boat to the Isle of Capri!! Antonella and Giuseppe, who are the owners of Romantic Relais Hotel are one of the hardest working people we've came across. They ensured to help whenever they can and they are very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Antonella tries to get to know the guests and understand their needs and greets us when we arrive. She also makes fresh bakery and food for breakfast. Giuseppe on the other hand is plesant to deal with and efficient. He is also very multi skilled and manage to balance tasks effectively. The hotel itself is very clean, and looking at how the room is presented, it gives a vibe that alot of thought have been put to the layout of the room to make it feel more home-ly. The bed quality, the furniture, the decoration shows this. It is also one of the cleanest hotel we've been to. Antonella shows great gratitude to her guests, always gives a warm smile with great communication. She also ensured that we were not hungry before travelling to the airport very early in the morning and offered us breakfast to takeaway. Giuseppe ensured that we had the breakfast the next morning and waved us bye. The location is a little drive up the mountain, but with the free shuttle offered at certain times of the day, it makes it bearable travelling up.
