I recently stayed here again for the first time in a long time with my aunt, uncle and grandparents and it was just like the times when I was a child… utterly spectacular and beautiful. I live in Positano and my mother Brindisi, but every year my grandparents would come visit me and my brother in Positano, but not stay there but rather the Hilton because my nonna is a high up member or something. Me and my brother would get little vacations with our grandparents and spend a few days in a kids paradise. I remember all the little activities they offered for us, it was all so much fun. Of course it was the best memories but then as time went on my grandparents didn’t travel as much anymore so the little vacations stopped.
But this year they decided to have one last trip there and it was the best time ever. I’m 22 now so no more kiddy activities but as an adult this place is just still so spectacular!! Wow the lobby?? It’s so big you can land a small plane in it easily! On the Amalfi coast? Sorrento? How is this not a 5 star property it’s insane! All beautiful marble I think just amazing. Front desk staff was so friendly I forget his name but the gentlemen there in the afternoon I think he might’ve even been Massimo as well was so nice! First thing I did, reserved the Happyssimo rooftop pool for mid afternoon like 3 or 4pm. My uncle’s room was a really narrow room on the 6th floor I believe… I mean kinda interesting idk the category or have a picture but it had a table with a green countertop and a balcony over the garden, just a different setup than what I’m used to but not the worst. Then I stayed on a extra bed with my grandparents, in a weird I think accessible room because my nonna wanted a bathtub, and it had a giant window looking right into the pool but I mean I get it, apart from that everything else was nice about the rooms. Then I went to the club and it was so awesome, free snacks and drinks all day then after a certain time they bring hot food nonstop! It’s nuts how abundant the food and drinks were, felt amazing! Then I went to the regular pool for a dip and towels were easy to get. Had a nice frozen drink and then went in the garden a bit, to which they have a beautiful pickleball court I think it is tons of beautiful space but a empty restaurant which I thought was a little pity but understandable. Then I went downstairs hoping to see the indoor pool… but it was locked ! :( I always had the best memories of that pool, mostly being always empty but I loved that. Later I got to see it when they were painting I believe and it was cool to see a real artist painting the walls… beautiful! Happyssimo was a dream, the views are all over this hotel and it’s insane! It’s brand new and you can get food and drinks up there which I’m sure would be awesome but sadly they close early like 5pm or something… so sad! My family own a hotel in Positano (covo) and we just opened our pool till 8pm just because so many of our guests wanted it… maybe you guys do it too? Service was always awesome kid was so friendly from Sorrento, music was also the best in the whole hotel. We had dinner at our favorite Da Filippo a local spot then came back for nightcaps in the lovely lounge bar behind the front desk… absolutely beautiful all red, first night service was good then the second night we sat and waited like 15 minutes to be noticed but that’s ok we were enjoying so much and they’re open late. Also breakfast was abundant and a nice spread of items which I enjoyed every morning. Lastly I didn’t have any conference but I’m in school at the Hilton university now and I find it so interesting how massive their conference space is. In Sorrento I would never expect something like it, beautiful truly everything was so awesome. Thank you so much for such a memorable vacation I loved the time there and the time I spent with my family I’ll never forget, this hotel truly is a special...
Read moreAs an avid hotel enthusiast, I have had the pleasure of staying at various 5 star hotel accommodations during my travels, both solo and with family. However, this particular occasion presented a unique challenge: I was determined to explore the Amalfi Coast region.||Having received numerous positive feedback regarding the Hilton palace Hotel Sorrento, I decided to embark on a journey to this esteemed establishment. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it is rated a four-star on Google. Despite this, I felt compelled to visit and personally experience the accolades that others have bestowed upon it.||On August 18, 2025, the hotel arranged for a chauffeur to collect us from the Napoli airport. The journey commenced there with exceptional service. Our driver, a highly attentive and welcoming individual, provided us with an informative overview of the regions we traversed, akin to a tour guide rather than a mere chauffeur.||Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted by incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Notably, they possessed remarkable English language proficiency. After checking in, we found our rooms to be immaculately clean.||We opted to have lunch by the pool, where we were greeted by Salvatore, the manager, and his exceptional staff claudia and her colleagues. We had the pleasure of meeting Alessandro, one of there senior chefs, who personally greeted us and prepared a delectable dish for us. The restaurant was bustling but efficiently organised, managed by Antonino, one of the most amiable managers I have encountered. His staff was equally helpful. As I am a gluten-free, lactose-free, and dairy-free individual, finding suitable dining options can be challenging. However, the hotel exceeded my expectations, providing a comprehensive range of options to accommodate my dietary requirements.|The Sorrento Hilton palace Hotel provided us with an exceptional holiday experience, with every detail meticulously crafted to perfection.
