BASIC - it's in an OK location, but has very little else going for it. Despite paying for the accommodation in full over 6 months ago, they tried to screw another 96 euros out of us at check in. The cabin we got was in a good position, but its pot luck and some are not in a great position on the site. There are no essentials, such as a toaster, microwave, kettleor grill, just a 2 burner gas hob. There was plenty of hot water, but the shower is so small you cannot move properly to wash yourself. The cabins are run down and on the small side. The beds are really cheap and very very uncomfortable. We would use another campsite in the future and probably not return...

The people working there are very nice...but instead of shrugging their shoulders and throwing up their hands about why the garden isn't maintained and why the place repeatedly closes early, they need to step up (take responsibility) and approach the management to push to get these things done. The art exhibit showing at the time was somewhat interesting but lacked explanation or curation. Keep in mind this is one of the few 'free' sites in this expensive,...

This Villa gives you an idea of what the life was like in the 19th Century! Beautiful lemon and orange groves dot the Park and there are ancient stables where farm animals were kept. The Villa is a museum now and the exhibits are well worth your time to stop in. No entrance fee, but a donation would be welcome. The carillon or music box exhibit is fabulous! You meet the woodworker that actually made the boxes and he plays...

Lovely playground which misses the point of being one. It theoretically closes at 1 PM but we got kicked out at 12:30 already because of a guy sweeping leaves (as he is not allowed to do that during the closing time between 13:00-17:00!). All kids were disappointed to watch a beautiful place being just that... Beautiful and useless for kids who want to play here but are not allowed to do so... Shame on you Sorento City Council!

We went to see an art exhibition here of impressionist work. There was also a photographic exhibition with lots of pictures of Sophia Loren which was great. I love those old movie photos. 15 euros each for both. We enjoyed it and it was some welcome air con in peak season too. As it's just off one of the main roads in Central Sorrento it's quite easy to get to. The building itself is lovely and has a pretty garden.
