I stayed 4 nights at Art Verona B&B and would have liked to stay longer! Quiet location, big room spotlessly clean, super-comfortable bed, nice furnishings and an excellent shower. Plus an ample breakfast with plenty of choice: cereals, fruit juices, cheese, cold meats, jams and a choice of breads and pastries and a fresh croissant daily!||It is situated convenietly (10 minutes walk) for railway and bus stations and it is close to Porta Nuova, the main street which leads to the city centre. The historical centre is a little further but anybody who is relatively fit should not object to a 20 minute walk...|There is free wi-fi and both the owner and her colleague are helpful and friendly without being intrusive. A great place to stay!||There are some nice places to eat nearby:on the square itself a South Tyrolian cafe/deli and round the corner alMoschetto which is a wine bar, a cafe (with sandwiches, rolls etc to take away, nice cakes) and a cafe next door to eat in - ...
Read moreWe stayed in the beautiful 4 poster room (you would not want 3 people in there unless the 3rd is a small child) and it was very lovely indeed. The pics are accurate. Fab location and close to the arena. You have to park about 10 minutes walk away but that's okay. Arrival was a bit of a hassle as it would help to have directions about what to do when you arrive (buzzers, courtyard, lift etc- it is complicated) And although people were in, they weren't answering initially- we even rang the phone. But when we got in the door , all very friendly and helpful. A warm welcome! ||Breakfast disappointing. We were told to wait until 9 when fresh croissants would arrive, but at 9 nobody was there at the B&B, so it was all help yourself from fridge and table- and when the person arrived at 9.20 croissants certainly were not fresh baked that morning, and there was only one type- custard- and no fresh bread at all . ||Pity. Really let it down. Given the price I...
Read moreWe stayed at Art Verona B&B for two nights. Though there were some complications at the arrival, Claudia was lovely and caring. We really appreciated the location of the B&B and the cleanness of the room. As a couple we are unfamiliar with other standards of B&Bs, but the quality of the rooms and service seemed exceptional. Walking to the Arena takes you approx. 7-10 minutes, which is (in our opinion) close to the city center. Claudia is happy to give recommendations about some lovely restaurants. We highly recommend to drop by at Art Verona B&B: the value for money is more than fair, it is close to the city center, Claudia offers the possibility of renting a parking spot close by and if tidiness is a key criteria you will be more than happy to stay...
