Mixed Experience – Great Pizza, But Some Disappointments 1. The pizzas were absolutely delicious – definitely the highlight of the meal. 2. Drinks were fine. 3. Dessert was underwhelming – not the best quality and overpriced. 4. The waitresses were kind and friendly, but at times we felt a bit overlooked. For example, it was hard to get their attention when we wanted to order more drinks or ask for the bill. 5. It was very hot inside – even hotter than outside, where seating is near a busy bus route. 6. We waited unusually long for our food. Despite arriving much earlier, we received our two pizzas at the same time as a group that came at least 30 minutes after us. 7. The final bill was an unpleasant surprise – prices for drinks and the cover charge were higher than what we saw on their website. We recommend the pizza for its great quality, but overall, the experience left us feeling a bit disappointed and overcharged.

We ordered a margarita and a capircciosa. The pizzas came quite fast and service was nice. The pizzas were cooked really well, with the classic spotting on the bottom. Pizza crust was super good, salted enough. The tomato sauce was prorer and tomato flavor was strong as well as the olive oil on top of the pizza came through nicely. For my liking, there was a bit too much mozzarella on the margarita, so that is a minor minus. Also, the mushrooms on the capircciosa were not fresh but from a can, so that was a minus. We sat outside on the ”terrace” which is just on the side of the road, but the road was quiet and no traffic so it was fine. Overall, a quite good experience.

I bake pizza myself and have tried pizzas in several cities across Italy – and I can say that at Pizzeria Regnum in Verona I had one of the best! The pizza stands out with an excellent Neapolitan dough, perfectly baked, airy, and flavorful. What really impressed me is that they use genuine San Marzano tomatoes for the sauce – you can taste the difference right away. The rest of the toppings are also top quality, fresh, and carefully chosen. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair, and the quality of the ingredients makes this place highly recommendable. If you love pizza, Regnum is a must-visit!

  1. intanto non è pizza napoletana (e posso garantire che di pizze napoletane vere ne ho mangiate e in questo locale di napoletano ho trovato solo il personale e la musica di sottofondo);
  2. non riuscivo a tagliarla per quanto risultasse gommosa al tatto;

Provvedo, comunque, a rispondere:

se il vostro locale è minuscolo accettare le prenotazioni, nonostante siate già pieni, non è assolutamente corretto nei confronti del cliente;

Per quanto riguarda i fritti, non ho mai visto nessun pizzaiolo ripassarli nel microonde: se vengono fatti al momento sono già caldi;

Per quanto riguarda le noci, ho precisato quelle da 0,99 cent proprio per far riferimento a quel particolare tipo, non a tutte le noci imbustate (ma mi aspettavo questa risposta, ahimè);
