Extremely delicious food, very nice customer service, and a beautiful environment! What more can be said? I went here with two friends and we all got a variety of dishes. Let me tell you… this fine establishment was like an oases in a vast desert. We all love pasta and pizza, but being in Italy so long, we wanted some variety!! This is, by far, the best Indian place we have dined at in the entirety of Italy (and we’ve been a lot of places). They spoke great English and were very accommodating, the aprons are also very unique and convenient! Definitely an excellent idea. The server gave us tips on what to order to suit our needs, the silverware and plates were extremely high quality and beautiful, and the apron had a very soft fabric. We wanted to make sure this wonderful restaurant, run by lovely and hospitable people, got the rating it deserved!! Definitely with a visit if you’re craving something different from the standard faire.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently dined at Maharajah Indian Restaurant in Verona, and it was an unforgettable experience! Although we didn’t think we were that hungry, the food was so delicious that we couldn’t resist. We started with the Aloo Chat, which was bursting with flavor and a perfect appetizer. The Eggplant Bhartha was incredibly rich and smoky, leaving us wanting more. We also enjoyed a delightful paneer dish that was creamy and well-seasoned. The Daal was hearty and comforting, complemented perfectly by fluffy rice and freshly made rotis. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with authentic Indian flavors. The staff was attentive and friendly, making our evening even more enjoyable. If you're in Verona and craving Indian cuisine, I highly recommend visiting Maharajah. You won't be disappointed!

One of the better indian place in verona. Great location (just right outside of the verona center) with paid parking space on the street. Service was normal and the decor is cute. Highly recommended to order saag paneer: the spinach sauce was thick and well-spiced. However, the chicken tikka masala tasted like a murgh makhan (butter chicken) because it was on the sweet side and not much taste of spice. It does taste really good through if you prefer sweet sauce. Roti was perfect but garlic naan came with tomato sauce on top which was a surprise! Overall, i would go back again :)

Positives:

Very nice staff. Welcoming, good service and polite.

Food is good in general. Depends on what you order. So lets see what we had..

Butter chicken - good.. Gosht (meat) kharahi - good Seekh kebab - not good. Straight from freezer zone of Lidl? Punjabi tikki (starter) - below avg.. very bland taste. Needs more spices. Paratha - ok Cheese naan - good Normal naan - good (too small). If you are not a rice person like us then you will have to order a lot of naan bread which is expensive. Mango lassi - tasty. The straw provided is too thin. Need to change them with wider ones!! 2 colas and 1 Fanta - canned

Negatives/improvements:

Portions are too small for the price. The bill was hand written, almost unreadable!! they charge you €2 per person just for seating!! Wow.. we occupied one table with 4 person and a baby.. this means €10 for just seating. Totally unacceptable. They need to add this cost into the price of food or inform the customers clearily upon entering!! Feels like cheating. They have bronze plates and glasses on the table which are in terrible shape and dont look good. I guess they are there for some royal look that goes with the name of resturant, but they are a big turn off. We didnt uses the glasses as we got served mango lassi in normal glasses.

We spent almost €75 for the items above!

Overall ok experience but...

L’accoglienza pari a zero Rispetto?
