Hotel was not so easy to find since it has no sign at all on the street. Find the street number 23 and search for the speaker on the wall. Its your only way to the check-in. ||Going up to the 2nd floor by the old elevator, didn't know what to expect. Was nicely surprised as soon as we walked into the hotel which is actually a pretty big appartment with few private rooms, two shared bathrooms and a big living/dining room.||Our room was big and very tidy. It also had a TV on the wall with 168 itallian TV channels and without a single english speaking one :) Bed was comfortable. ||There were two "problems" in general:|1st was a window orientation (Juliette's tomb side) where seems to be also some kind of a night bar place. It was Saturday evening, therefore the night was quite noisy till like 2-3 AM, even though windows were closed.|2nd was the fact that walls between the rooms are very thin. Girls in neighbouring room were laughing and caughing till past midnight and it almost seemed they are in our room. Irritating.|Advice: Bring ear plugs with you if you want to sleep without interruptions. ||Host was very nice, proactively explained us things we need to know and see in Verona and provided us with a city map. Well done!||Location is nearly perfect. Short walk (10min) to the Arena square. Breakfast was average. Nothing special. Fridge full of yoghurts, with some salami and cheese to make yourself a toast sandwich. ||To sum it up: not excellent but very good value for money! I would recommend...
Read moreI arrived a bit late and ring to the door bell, and owner came to open for me and took their time in explaining everything, showing a map of the city and giving some advice I used during my stay in Verona.||Location is 15 min from railway station by feet, easy to find as tomb of Guliette just 10 meters from the building. Also about 5 min to city center and piazzas. Shop with russian food in 5 min from hotel, or some Italian very good places to buy cheese or pizza homemade all are near too. ||||The place is very nice, I just felt like home, it is very comfortable and well equipped. My room was very suitable and nice with nice furniture. Bathrooms are clean and suitable too, there are two bathrooms so everytime you can find a free one.||The breakfast is very nice - fruits and yogurts, a self-service in which you can have the kind of breakfast you want to. You can have a cup of coffee - I like this coffee machine too.||If I go back to Verona again I will...
Read moreThe place is well-located (about 3 minutes from Juliet's tomb and 10 minutes from Piazza Bra) if a bit hard to find by site (thank god for GoogleMaps). Check-in was easy- I arrived around 5 pm as I forgot to specify the check-in time, but was able to reach the owner quite easily through a speaker labeled with Verona23 that connects to his phone. It turns out he manages 2 properties so it took him about 5-10 minutes to arrive. But Luigi was very friendly and provided a map (I impressed him with everything I dragged my friend to visit and already knew), along with restaurant recommendations. ||||In addition, I booked on booking.com and used a $25 discount, but either way, it's a great value! I booked the room with the private bathroom and was quite pleased with everything. There were many breakfast options and check-out was easy- you simply leave the key in the door lock. ||||I would definitely recommend and stay...
