If you visit Verona, you may want to check out this hidden gem. It is the flavour and hospitality that makes it unique. The owner (a gentleman) takes pride in his gelatos and loves serving people. My sister and I had a pleasant experience at the lovely Gelateria after having a long and exciting day visiting the city. The owner started by offering free samples to a local family and us. My sister and I happily chose our cups (three scoops/flavours each). It was so refreshing and satisfying. The flavours are so rich, and the texture is so smooth. We loved it. It is one of the two best gelatos we had in Italy so far. The other one is in Rome. We chatted a little bit with the owner, who kindly offered a free expresso to my sister. Frankly, we had a disappointing experience in Italy this time - the food we tasted was so bland and the weather so bad, that we weren't having the best time of our lives. However, tasting this gelato truly made our day - finally getting to taste something that makes Italy famous for its food! We visited again second day, Hazelnut, Pistacchio, Gianduja were top, and even though it was a different person scooping today, the service was consistent and the portion was good.
