We thought this was good hotel to use as a base on our recent trip to Verona, Venice and Lake Garda. It was a 20 mins pleasant walk to the main train station (Porta Nuova) and less than 10mins to the Arena/main areas of Verona. |The hotel and rooms were very clean with maid service every day. All staff we encountered were exceptionally pleasant and reception staff informative.|The room was an ok size (we booked |the superior room) comfortable with a small balcony, tea making facilities and free bottled water (if you sign to Best Western). Good wifi connection too. The only negative was we could hear our neighbours in the room next door who had music on at 6am and you could hear their shower and every time they flushed the toilet. |Our bathroom had a good rain shower and regular shower combo, and the towels were thick and fluffy. |Breakfast was ok, the continental selections were great but the hot choices could have been a little better. We didnt leave hungry though and had plenty to eat/drink |All things considered, this was a good hotel and would be happy...
Read moreWe had a good stay in Best Western Plus Hotel de Capuleti. The staff was really good and they helped us when we had questions about Verona and getting around. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The location is close to the city center so you can easily walk to the area where most interesting things are located.
A couple of things that could have been better was that the Wi-Fi was a bit bad. It got a bit annoying when you kept getting disconnected time after time. The rooms are not sound proofed at all. You could hear everything that was going on outside the room, even when someone just put their key in their door, so if you ar easily disturbed, this might not be the place for you. And of course everyone will hear you too. When you showered water leaked out over a large portion of the bathroom floor. This is a bit inconvenient, but it was mostly over the part where you don't walk that much.
Overall it's a decent option for...
Read moreOverall a good hotel. It's basic but reasonably priced and the photos online are genuine and not misleading. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The area is a bit far out of town, but it was quiet and easily walkable (10-15 mins). My only criticisms are that, in the room, there is a small shelf under the TV which sticks out into the room and leaves you with little space to navigate around it because it's so close to the bed. We bumped into it a couple of times. I'm not sure what the point of the shelf is since it only seems to hold the TV remote, which could easily just go on the desk or a bedside table instead. I also found the room quite bright since there are a lot of light sources (LED panels, etc.) which you can't seem...
