We stayed at Atami Kakurezato for two nights and really enjoyed it! The owner is very friendly and super accomidating to his guests, definitely felt very welcomed. We got the breakfast included in our stay and enjoyed having our meals every morning (the meal usually includes some local produce). The public bath was wonderful; very spacious and relaxing. The hotel is close to the station and it's easy to walk anywhere in Atami from this location. As for the rooms, we had a beautiful view of the ocean and mountains and the room was very tastefully decorated with a beautiful wooden bath that I wish I had at my house. Would definitely recommend Atami...

We spent a night at Kakurezato and had an absolutely amazing experience! The ryokan was just a 10-15mins walk from the station and is close to the shopping area and beach. We stayed in a premium room and it was decorated in a modernized traditional Japanese style. Had our own private onsen and outdoor garden. The room had almost everything one might need - from toothbrushes, blower, hair band, water, tea and etc. The host was very accommodating and friendly. He was very pleasant to talk to and even let us use the inn’s public onsen whenever we wanted to. Would definitely love to come back for...

We had such a wonderful stay here during our family trip to Atami. We booked a family room that was really spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hot springs on the 1F were perfect after a long day of exploring. The owners are incredibly friendly and took the time to introduce us to their facilities, along with some lovely restaurants and must-see attractions in the area.
