Very disappointing! I’m Italian and I’m used to some good Italian restaurants in Japan. This isn’t one of them. First of all even if they offer a set menu and an à la carte menu, it turns out that if you want to dine à la carte you HAVE to order an antipasto, a pasta AND a main. No way they’d allow us to order only an antipasto and a pasta, even if the pasta comes in two sizes, a small portion and a main portion. That was really weird. They have a vast selection of wines on the menu, but when we tried to order some, they did not have our first 3 choices. And we had to settle for an American wine even if we wanted Italian or French. My friends ordered the mushroom pasta and that was really terrible. I ordered a tomato and aubergine pasta and it was ok, but nothing special. The antipasti were good. It’s also quite incredible that THE ONLY type of pasta they had was spaghetti. The place is also very expensive for Japanese standards. Overall, not the experience we expected and we would not...
Read moreBeware, this restaurant is a total scam. The food is extremely overpriced, the bill cannot be verified (only a total amount with no breakdown), and the quality of the food is very average. We should have realized when we placed our order and the waiter pressured us to order multiple dishes (2 per person) and even drinks (you can’t even get just water for a child!). In short, we paid 18,000 yen for three plates of pasta—nothing special—two small glasses of wine (8 cl), and one carpaccio. A big...
Read moreReally enjoyed the special occasion menu, wines, and good service. Frankly, the pasta was perfect, and each dish in the course menu built from lighter to more deep tastes. First time to try bamboo cream sauce for example, and the Japanese limoncello drink so tasty. It’s Italian excellent taste, but with touches of fusion.
Very convenient at the end of the Heiwa Street Shopping Mall just outside of the Atami station. Hope to visit again, and thank...
