Monthly Apartment Fujizakura Inn — Hotel in Fujikawaguchiko

For being one of the most affordable Inns near Kawaguchiko, Fujizakura has superb service with very accomodating staffs, whom were all very patient and friendly despite the language barrier. Some of them spoke really good English while some of them could barely make out a sentence - but they were all so helpful that I didnt mind the small setback in communication.

The location is superb! And if you book early, do go for the rooms with Mount Fuji view. Pay that little extra fee and have an uninterrupted view of Mount Fuji exclusively from your balcony.

The rooms were well equipped and are better than most rooms any other hotel rooms you could find in Japan (within the same price range). It is also cleaner than most as the staffs would come by every morning to provide room service (should you wish it) and whether you want to or not, provide fresh clean changes of yukata, toiletries and towels.

There are some hidden gems/bonuses to being guests to Fujizakura. You get discounts to the entrance of Yurari hotspring and free shuttle rides from there and the hotel. Then you also get free shuttle rides to and from the Kawaguchiko station or Fuji station to the hotel as well.

We stayed at 7 different places for our Japan trip and fujizakura inn is my favourite. The receptionist who worked on the 13th of feb (night) was the absolute nicest guy, he gave us so much info especially with their free shuttle bus service. The room was awesome! The flooring was so nice to walk on, bed/bathroom/internet was perfect. We went to fujiq for a day trip and it was the same day we were checking out. Firstly we were a few minutes late for our shuttle bus but they waited for us since we locked the time in and they were so nice and chill about it. We ask if we could leave our bags at the inn and they said sure. We called the inn to pick us up, the reception recognised our voice and was so cheerful about it. When we got picked up from Fuji q they already had our bags in the shuttle bus and asked us if we wanted to get dropped of at kawaguchiko station... I was so floored, they were extremely accommodating like they knew what we wanted with out us knowing. I thought we would have to go to the inn pick up our bags and catch the next shuttle bus to the station, they saved us so much time. I can't recommend them highly enough. Stayed here a night before climbing Mt Fuji; thereafter another 2 nights. Wonderful view of Mt Fuji from balcony (if it decided to show itself!) Staff were very polite & helpful. Bunk bed room were roomy & comfy enough with adequate amenities. Provision of coffee & tea, if provided, would be welcoming.

Shuttle bus to/from Kawaguchiko Station was a blessing (from 2pm @ Station; frequent departure from Hotel) I was thankful they even pick me up from the train station outside their shuttle services! Also has a shuttle to/from Yurari Spa (15 min away; ¥1000 for weekday & hotel discounts)
