We picked here because it was near to Gotemba Station and we wanted the free shuttle to Gotemba Premium Outlet on our next morning. Of course there's plenty of other great choices but we chose here for this very reason.||||It takes about 5-10 mins straight walk from the station to this hotel. There's only one ramen restaurant next to it, but they don't speak English so we ended up having our meal in the hotel instead. ||||As expected, for any budget-travelling, the room are small (bigger than Lungwood Hotel on my first night) and bathroom even smaller. This is going to be standard review statement I'm going to give every hotel I stay in Tokyo. ||||But I had one of the magnificent view in the morning. The Mount Fuji. The weather was good so I had a good glimpse of the majestic mountain. The stay came with breakfast so the food was average - a buffet mix of American breakfast and Japanese curry rice. Read moreThis reminded me of those old-school backpacker motel in Europe, everything is dated but bearable. Just manage your own expectation- it’s a hotel u see on a 70s-80s. The curry service is plain curry with rice which is a nice touch on a cold rainy day. Google map showed me the longer way. Basically upon coming out of the train station facing the koban, just walk straight up- no need to cross that train track on which I got horned at. Important thing to take note- It’s a majority smoking hotel, so need to take note for those with weaker respiratory system. I booked a non-smoking room, repeated that on special request as I have asthma-induced from bronchitis before.
