Bellevue Garden Hotel Kansai International Airport — Hotel in Izumisano

I have only stayed for one night, before moving on to Kyoto next day.||Late arrival – early departure, therefore only few, positive words to say.||It is an Airport Hotel located on the other side of the bridge; perfect location for transit travellers like myself. They have free Airport shuttle that runs every hour, all day. The last one departs about 10.30pm. For those who wish to rent a car, there is one-week free parking space.||The hotel itself is a large building in the 80’s style. It is 4 Stars hotel. Lovely lobby surrounded by Japanese style gardens. Very friendly and English speaking staff. Smoking rooms available if you ask.||Surprisingly spacious rooms, nice décor. You can even open the windows. Compact bathrooms, but very comfortable and bath tub included. Good Wi-Fi. There are several restaurants: Japanese, Chinese and Western. I can’t comment on them as arrived too late to dine in.||Instead, walked about 2 minutes to large and very good Family Mart (open ‘till 11pm), where you can variety of readymade, super fresh meals or any kind of produce for all tastes.||Perfect for one night. Great location and they provide free shuttle (I was told until 11am could be wrong) to the airport and outlet mall in the same direction, near the beach. But you have to reserve your seats to make sure you get the time you want. CON: No AC, just heat so you need to keep window open for a while and set temp to low so heat doesn’t turn on. *No power outlets or USB ports next bedside. *Bedside light Buttons do not turn off all lights. So I had to get up to turn them off. Bathroom has mildew on the ceiling and in the cracks of the grout. There is hole for ventilation but it’s not doing anything as I don’t feel cold air at the bottom of the door. Window gets fogged up as a result. Only 1 hotel out of 7 did not have mildew. You should never see this at 4 hotel. *Toilet seat does not keep seat warm. So you get a cold seat. There is no option to enable or disable this. *Entrance doors slam so you can hear when your neighbors get home. *Internet is blocking certain games (DNS) so i can’t log into to do my daily login. Absolutely the best hotel staff !! So friendly and helpful!! The shuttle is great but make sure if you need it check the times because drop offs and pick ups are limited. The room was clean and spacious. The tub and water pressure amazing ! The breakfast was good but get there early because it gets busy and the food was not available. The restaurant has wonderful Japanese food. The tempura platter was amazing and so fresh.!! The bed was good, I should have asked for extra pillows because it comes with (2) I like 4, but that is just me. The location is great because it is so close to the railway station and the airport. This is not the hotel’s fault but other rude guest who communicates very loudly in the early morning or late night.
