Ace Coffee — Restaurant in Izumisano

Came in to have a coffee and a small pastry.

Environment was great - bright, fun, and social. Service was kind.

It was expensive for what it is, considering how readily available snacks and coffee are.

Menu offered a drink set discount - a pastry was 400 yen with a purchase of coffee. I made sure to ask (via Google translate), if I could pick from any of the three pastries displayed for the deal, and was told yes. Upon checking out, the discount wasn’t applied. I asked again about the drink set deal, but there seemed to be no real answer, and I paid the full ~1,250 yen for a coffee and small pastry.

Good coffee and a decent burger. The environment of the shop was really nice and clean. As a coffee shop, it was a nice place to stop and enjoy a coffee. I also ordered the Bacon Cheese Burger, and it came with a small salad and a side of fries. The fries were crispy and delicious, but the burger was a little pricey for the size. If I end up going again I'll probably skip the burger, but I'll definitely...

Great service and amazing desserts. We got the cinnamon apple pie with custard on the bottom. The crust was one of the best I’ve had. The crushed pastry layer in the sundae was a brilliant idea. The chocolate syrup at the bottom was a delicious surprise. They let us order a cup of milk, even though it isn’t on the menu. Also, they had decaf coffee! Other than Starbucks, this is the first place we’ve been to that has decaf coffee. I don’t want to travel to the other side of the globe just to end up a Starbucks.
