Environment was great - bright, fun, and social. Service was kind.
It was expensive for what it is, considering how readily available snacks and coffee are.
Menu offered a drink set discount - a pastry was 400 yen with a purchase of coffee. I made sure to ask (via Google translate), if I could pick from any of the three pastries displayed for the deal, and was told yes. Upon checking out, the discount wasn’t applied. I asked again about the drink set deal, but there seemed to be no real answer, and I paid the full ~1,250 yen for a coffee and small pastry.

The crushed pastry layer in the sundae was a brilliant idea. The chocolate syrup at the bottom was a delicious surprise. They let us order a cup of milk, even though it isn’t on the menu. Also, they had decaf coffee! Other than Starbucks, this is the first place we’ve been to that has decaf coffee. I don’t want to travel to the other side of the globe just to end up a Starbucks.
