Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kawasaki — Hotel in Kawasaki

I was in Kawasaki to see some concerts at Club Citta and Daiwa Roynet was nice and close to the concert venue. ||||Getting to the hotel from the JR was a short walk. Will go past a lot of restaurants and Pachinko gambling places.||||Check in was a breeze. Checked in at the counter, but had to pay at a kiosk and that gave out the room key. A little different. Room was small, but functional. Pictures others have posted are accurate. There is a convenience store on the 1st floor.||||Only a couple of slight drawbacks - no english tv channels and had some "fun" trying to figure out the thermostat. Happened to be in Japan during the typhoon, so spent a little more time in the room than I usually would on vacation.||||Lots of choices to eat in the neighborhood. This was my third stay at Daiwa Roynet Kawasaki, and once again, it did not disappoint. The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to both Keikyu and JR train stations, making travel seamless. It's only about 20 minutes from Haneda Airport without needing to transfer, which is a huge plus.

The surrounding area is bustling with dining options, so finding a great meal is never an issue. Having a Family Mart store right at the entrance is also very handy. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and always eager to assist. I especially appreciated the option to store luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which made my travel plans much smoother.

Great hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff who speak English (at varying level - but we never had any problems). Rooms are very clean and quiet. Sufficient power sockets, small fridge, all lights except bathroom can be turned on/off from the bed. The beds are quite hard (compared to what I am used to from Germany) but I got used to it quickly. Some nice features included, eg the toilet seat is heated, or if you decide to not have your room cleaned for a day you get a free bottle of water! There is a room with vending machines and a microwave. Only 5 minutes to kawasaki station on foot....
