Walk in to a fire warmed entrance, to then be seated along the elongated serving table within view of the chefs table. We went in for happy hour 4-6 where eveything on the menu is ¥500. We had the extremely delightful gnocchi and prosciutto ham board to go with our Bellini/Mamosa/Kir Royal - had to try each one... It was very entertaining pretending to live the fine dining lifestyle at prices that are actually appropraite for our wallets. The Australian guy behind the counter was also incredibly helpful, answering all our questions amd providing a really high level of customer service. Hope I haven't just offended him if he's actually from NZ... There are several really cool features about this place ranging from the bathroom to magic onsen towel tricks given to you at the start, but I won't ruin the surprise! Soup was quit nice. Cheese was nicely blended into. Bread was so-so. It would have been nice if the bread came with butter.
