SEKKA LAB Dining & Bar — Restaurant in Kutchan

Walk in to a fire warmed entrance, to then be seated along the elongated serving table within view of the chefs table. We went in for happy hour 4-6 where eveything on the menu is ¥500. We had the extremely delightful gnocchi and prosciutto ham board to go with our Bellini/Mamosa/Kir Royal - had to try each one... It was very entertaining pretending to live the fine dining lifestyle at prices that are actually appropraite for our wallets. The Australian guy behind the counter was also incredibly helpful, answering all our questions amd providing a really high level of customer service. Hope I haven't just offended him if he's actually from NZ... There are several really cool features about this place ranging from the bathroom to magic onsen towel tricks given to you at the start, but I won't ruin the surprise! Would highly recommend checking this...

Terrific dining experience from start to finish at this Italian eatery with a Japanese touch.

Friendly and professional staff, awesome atmosphere, fantastic food menu, cocktails and wine list all at a great price. Great attention to detail and knowledge about their product.

Loved the open kitchen and sitting at the counter allows you to watch the masterful chef at work!

Definitely go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable!

Course meal only. 5000yen per person. Comes with starter, soup, pasta, meat (choice of beef or pork), and dessert with coffee or tea. The amount was quite generous. Yet .. maybe that's not true for people who wish for large meals.

Soup was quit nice. Cheese was nicely blended into. Bread was so-so. It would have been nice if the bread came with butter.

Dessert was great! Tiramisu was quite nice.
