Sprout — Restaurant in Kutchan

I looked forward to drinking the most amazing takeaway lattes made from Sprout's locally sourced and freshly roasted beans. This is a friendly and snug place to enjoy your coffee. There are some wonderful gifts and souvenir items on sale too. I highly recommend the white chocolate mocha which I tried on one occasion and wish I'd managed to sample more of their other varieties of coffees on offer.

I also loved the biodegradable and recyclable brown paper cups and plastic lids with the different stamps that changed each time we visited.

This is a little gem of a place within the heart of Kutchan. I wish we had more in dependant coffee houses offering quality tasty coffee like Sprout back home in the UK. I will miss coming...

[Jan 2025] Great place to get a hot coffee on a cold winter day. Very conveniently located a minute's walk from the Kutchan JR station. Homely, cozy vibes and friendly service.

We had the Guatemala COE #3 Rosma Geisha single origin handdrip, and Niseko Haute Route blend americano. The Guatemala was light and floral - a happy drink. The NHR blend had a nicely balanced taste - don't like a prominent acidic taste, the balance was spot on here. Bought the Mt Yotei blend beans home and it works great black or with milk. Nice well-rounded taste. Wish I bought more!
