Quiet place in a peaceful suburban setting. Great for couples. We also stayed in a hotel on our trip and, although the bed was comfier, we much preferred staying at Higurashi. We were able to get a little glimpse into day to day life in Japan; walking with locals past schools, shrines, local businesses to nearby restaurants and Tamabashi station. The station is about 10min walk away and trains from there took us everywhere we...

Great place to stay at for an authentic Japanese experience. Cute and cozy art-style home equipped with all necessities. The hosts are great and respond very quickly, ready to adapt to your needs.
