I stayed here for one night. The location is very convenient to NUCB and I chose the large room that was meant for two people. Probably the single rooms are really tight, I imagine. The stripes in the elevator made me dizzy, it was really awful to stand in there. Everything else about the design of the hotel was good. Very New York City modern design. The space was very clean and everything was functional. The bed was comfortable and even though I had a view of the busy road, I didn’t really hear car sounds at all. It was great to sit at the desk at the window and work. I guess my stay was okay, but I don’t know if it was worth the price. I would have felt more justified in the price if breakfast was free. Breakfast at the cafe downstairs was really good, though. I had a grilled sandwich and...
Read moreStayed here for four nights and it was great.
The room is very spacious. The cleaners also do a good job cleaning.
The location is convenient next to a subway line that goes to most of the major destinations. It is also walking distance to sakae and Nagoya station, so in the middle of anywhere you would probably want to go. Also far enough from the kyabakura area if that worries you.
The front staff were also great in assisting with luggage shipping. Filled the whole paper out for me I didn't have to do anything!

Read moreI normally stay at the JR Nagoya Gate Hotel in Nagoya, but tried this as it was $150/night cheaper over NYE. I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s on a very busy strip of road with nothing nearby other than a convenience store. The rooms were terribly noisy even with everything shut - mostly road noise but also sound from the other rooms. The service was awful - the girl checking me in made me stand there for 10mins waiting for it to tick over 3pm until she gave me my (already cut and waiting) key. The rooms are fine - clean, new, serviceable but lack basic amenities (eg no tea, coffee, or drinking glasses). Overall a depressing place and I was keen to leave. Must be better...
