Really disappointing!! I checked into my room understanding it’s a twin room and was asked if I prefer 2 x single beds or 1 large bed. Naturally my reply was 1 large bed, then I checked into my room and they pushed 2 single beds together (made as 2 single beds) with a big gap down the middle. As a hotel manager I know 100% that twin rooms should have single beds that can be zipped together to form a king bed and then it should be made with a king fitted sheet to prevent the 2 singles from separating while you sleep and for a room that costs over $700 AUD per night, you would expect nothing less than this. This has totally ruined my stay at this apartment because naturally I expected to see 1 large king and I don’t know a single person who would pay the nightly rate I have paid to sleep in a single bed

Beautiful, spacious, modern studio with in floor radiant heat. Kitchenette with stovetop, oven, fridge but no microwave. About a 16 minute walk to Annupuri ski resort and 7 minutes for the bus stop at Annupuri entrance. Without a car, your options are limited since the resort bus only runs once an hour (In January). No food shopping close, but 2 good restaurants, the Taj Mahal and Karabina (reservations required). Studio has a combined washer/drier and lots of good storage as well as a ski locker in the basement. There are pots and pans, but no salt, pepper, oil or other necessities for cooking. Staff were very helpful and the keyless codes worked well. Photo is the view from our studio.

Enjoy the peace, tranquility and privacy here at The Kamui Niseko. The perfect place if one likes to be far from the noise & crowds at Hirafu town, or the big resort hotels, to enjoy great family friendly skiing at Annupuri, which is just 3 minutes up the hill. While The Kamui's location is a bit secluded, and that's the way we liked it, there are a couple of must dine places conveniently next to it: A-Nabeya 鍋, Sobatei Rakuichi 樂一 by Master Chef Tatsuru Rai,and 唐火七 an izakaya; and two onsens, natural hot springs baths: Yugokanro-tei 湯心停 (5 mins walk from The Kamui), and our 1st choice - the Iroha (1 min. walk from The Nook, Annupuri Ski Rental Center). Onsite at The Kamui is a Michelin star restaurant, Sushi Shin 鮨心 (we'd love to try it next time). The apartments are nicely appointed, with fully equipped kitchens, Nespresso machines (bring your own favorite capsules), toasters, rice cookers, Miele dishwashers and laundry machines, with daily cleaning service, so it was enjoyable to make our own breakfasts each day. Groceries or restaurant food can be ordered and delivered through the Honest Bee app; there's no need to leave the area.||||SkiJapan manages the property, with a friendly staff in the early mornings and late afternoons who can shuttle you, if booked ahead of time, to the Annupuri ski center, during the day, or to Hirafu for a night on the town.||||Thanks to everyone at SkiJapan.com, from the SkiJapan Chitose Int'l Airport service desk, to the SkiJapan Travel office in Hirafu, all the way to The Kamui reception desk. We had an awesome time in Niseko, staying...

We loved everything about our experience in The Kamui, Niseko. We availed of the airport transfer from CTS Airport. As soon as we got out of the immigrations, a staff from SkiJapan welcomed us and gave us useful tips on how to enjoy Niseko and where to eat. We stayed in their 1 bedroom apartment which was very spacious for 2 people. I loved how they left us some snacks in the room. The modern interiors, the bed and sofa were so cozy that there were days we prefered to stay indoors instead of heading out. There was netflix and heated floors...what more could you ask for! A housekeeping staff went to clean the rooms regularly which was very helpful. There was a time we left our keys inside the room and we couldn’t get in. Fortunately, they sent someone fast to help us get in our rooms. All the staffs from the receptionists to the drivers etc were very helpful, friendly and attentive. The only problem is that there’s no shuttle service to the town during the day so you either have to take a cab(which can be costly) or bus from the nearby ski slopes. During times when we were tired and hungry, it was challenging to locate a restaurant since the area is quite isolated.P.S. There’s a nearby indian restaurant at The Kamui that has amazing cheese garlic naan and buttered...
