Niseko Annupuri Ski Snowboard School — Local services in Niseko

Had 4hour private lesson, 2hr morning and 2 hr afternoon both different instructor.

Our lesson starts at 10am. We arrived late due to Niseko United bus late and snowboard rental was so slow! Lesson start at 1030 but still ends at 12pm. Instructor Shinji doesn’t really teach, he will only advise when being asked.

Afternoon instructor Abe was better, he teaches us the methods. But he was rushing through to finish class. We were not stable on toe and he asked us to turn heel to toe and back. So of course bad fall all the way. It’s too dangerous thinking back. I cracked my back, neck and hit my head. If things didn’t turn out well, I could have been paralysed. I’m still in pain from the falls...

Arrived day before without reservations and was able to get next day reservations with little hassle. We selected an hour long morning session. Our instructor, Ohashi, was prompt, polite, and patient. All staff had good English skills. Ohashi was especially fluent. 25000 yen provided lessons for myself and my wife.

Adam Sato was really supportive in teaching us how to snowboard. It was our first time snowboarding and he was patient and provided strategies and tips on improving our skills. Would highly recommend Annupuri ski and snowboarding school and Adam Sato as the instructor! I even had the chance to practice my Japanese....
