Overall we had a good impression with this property. Awesome value for what you're getting. #1, you can't beat the location! From the Shin Osaka station take the central exit turn right to get to the hotel. From the Midosuji subway line, take exit 7 then turn right. The hotel is literally less than 10 minutes from the station, and even closer from the Subway. The hotel is in a safe and clean area. By American standards the rooms are tight, but we knew that going in. We were looking for convenience and value. And this is it. The rooms are like being on a cruiseship. If you are expecting 5 star stay elsewhere and spend $500.00 a night upward. We'd rather spend our money on other things. We got room 1415, top floor. Our rate included breakfast. The breakfast was great but we stayed one week. They only offer 2 options so we ate the same thing. If you like, there are convenience stores just around the corner. 711, Family Mart, and Lawson's. About 4 blocks away there are many eateries, supermarkets etc... We would stay here again but get 2 twin beds next time. The double bed was a bit tight. It was also nice being able to do laundry. For 500 yen 3kg wash and dry! No need for laundry soap, the washer automatically does it. The bathroom also has a laundry line for you to hand stuff up to dry. This was really nice cause when we had an early day, the train station was right there! I think you get my point. The hotel also gives you 2 free bottled water daily. You must go to the front desk...
Read moreDuring our stay, we found the hotel's location to be acceptable, just a 10-minute walk from JR Shin Osaka Station. Conveniently, there is a Family Mart next to the hotel, only a minute away. However, we did notice that the room was quite small, making it difficult to accommodate two pieces of luggage, though we understand this is common in Japan and anticipated it when we booked. Each floor has a water machine, which is a nice touch.Unfortunately, the room and the entire floor were heavily permeated with cigarette smoke, which had soaked into the curtains and bed sheets. Due to the hotel being fully booked, we could not change rooms. While we accepted this situation since it was part of our original booking, the staff did provide an air purifier, although it didn't help much. Additionally, we found the number of sockets insufficient; there was only one above the bed and the other one close to the door, which was not convenient enough for two people. On a positive note, there is a restaurant open until 11:00 PM that serves breakfast, which is quite convenient, even though we didn’t partake...
Read moreIt has been the cleanest place I have ever found in Japan. There is no dust I could find in the room and the room has a pleasant smell. A room with a high way view is a bonus though it can be a bit noisy if you open it up. However, it is not a big deal. Its quite a modern place using a swipe card to get access to your room/ elevator so you shouldnt be worried too much or have a sense of insecure here. ||||Location is good as it is in a walking distance from Shin Osaka station. We could manage quite well with 2 big luggages plus some backpacks and it was totally doable. The room itself has a very bright natural light during day time and cozy light during night time which is essential. 2 laudry bags are provided in the table drawers which was a thought. ||||Staff are very polite, cheerful and happy to provide extra 2 more pillows when I asked for my moms without questioning me further ( happened in the past at the other place when i needed to explain that my mom needs more pillows to be able to sleep....) ||||In general, this is worth to stay and I will be back...
